Ta-dah! It continues!

~Jason~

"You okay, man?" Leatherface asked as Jason and Michael sat down.

"Yeah, I'm fine. I just ... I don't know what Freddy's deal is. I never understood what he has against me," Jason said sadly.

"I don't know what it is you see in him," Michael grumbled. "He's done nothing but pick on you."

Jason sighed. "I wish I knew, too. There's just ... something about him. I'm sure he's a nice guy. Maybe just misunderstood?"

"And you get how he feels," Michael said, finishing Jason's thought.

"Exactly," Jason said.

"Not sure how he can be a nice guy. He's kinda cold towards everyone," Leatherface said.

"Based on what we just witnessed? He seems kinda close with that brown-haired freshman. In fact, they look like they're related. Wonder if they are," Jason explained.

Michael just shrugged. "Perhaps."

Leatherface decided to change the subject. "So what are your schedules like?"

"I have History of Film first with Mr. Hitchcock," Michael said, looking his schedule.

"Oh, I do, too!" Jason said, excitedly.

"Really?! Me, too!" Leatherface chimed in.

"First period's gonna be awesome!" Jason cheered. "Maybe we can sit with each other!"

"I wonder what other classes we have in common," Leatherface said.

The three boys started comparing schedules, Jason and Leatherface being more eager to do so. Michael's expression showed that he couldn't really care less. Still, at least he was going to be with people that he knew.

"What do you think this year is gonna be like?" Jason asked.

Michael shrugged. "Probably the same as usual."

"Think you'll find someone that'll peak your interest?~" Leatherface asked in a teasing tone.

Michael huffed. "Fat chance. You know I'm not interested in that shit."

"I am. I just haven't found them yet," Leatherface sighed.

Jason gave his friend and assuring pat on the shoulder. "You'll find them some day."

"Thanks, man."

Jason sighed. "Maybe I should give up on mine. I doubt he'll ever see me that way. I doubt he's even into guys. He's made it clear he likes girls."

Michael scoffed. "His flirting mechanisms do make me sick."

Leatherface slowly nodded in agreement.

"But like I said - there's just something about him that draws me to him. Sure, he's an ass to me, but he brings entertainment to class. Makes things more interesting," Jason continued.

"I suppose," Michael said.

"Remember the time his tried to flirt with Mrs. Langenkamp?" Leatherface asked with a laugh.

Jason laughed, too. "Oh, yeah. She was sooo mad!"

"He probably did it since she looks so much like Nancy," Michael said, looking back.

"Oh, 100% that's why he did it!" Jason laughed.

"He's lucky he didn't get expelled," Leatherface laughed.
