Chapter 3

Y/N and Lumine were staring at the raging Osial in the ocean until they heard a voice.

"What... are you doing here?"

Y/N and Lumine looked behind them and saw Xiao.

"Oh! Chibi-chan!" Y/N said

"Tsk. Why are you even needed here?" Xiao asked

"Huh... Hold on! It's the adepti! What are you doing on the Jade Chamber? Paimon thought you were arguing with the Liyue Qixing. Is the fighting over?" Paimon asked

"Faced with a calamity of such magnitude, we have agreed to put our differences aside for now and unite against thid common enemy." Ningguang said

"Hmph!" The Moon Carver said

"Oh, Paimon gets it. So how are you going to defend Liyue?" Paimon asked

"Uh... Just seeing this Overlord of the Vortex guy puts a pit on Paimon's tummy even from all the way out here." Paimon said

"It'll be alright. I'm the strongest." Y/N said while stretching

"Give me ten seconds." Y/N said

"Y/N, I don't know what you're planning to do, but we'll rely on you if our plan fails." Ningguang said

"So will the power of the Qixing, Milelith, and the Adepti gathered here be enough to stop that God?" Paimon asked

"We've already discussed this together and our conclusion is... not necessarily." Ningguang said

"What?! But all of you are supposed to be the guardians of Liyue. Can't you think of something?" Paimon asked

"One certainly could." The Cloud Retainer said

"Huh?" Paimon said

"The Qixing did once research the Guizhong Ballista when it piqued their fancy. And as fate would have it, one, who did craft the Guizhong Ballista with one's hand own hands is here.For what could you mortals ever learn of adepti mechanism? Yes, it would take one, but a little thinking to turn this ballista into an engine of war beyond your wildest thoughts." Cloud Retainer said

"Heh. This is one blessing from the adepti that we should be thankful for. So be it, we shall use the upgraded Guizhong Ballista to fight off that god. All the adepti here that can lend their strength to man it." Ningguang said

"Why not use Y/N against that thing? He might be able to do more than the ballista." Xiao said

"That's right. Although I still resent him for destroying a mountain in Jueyun Karst." Mountain Shaper said

Ningguang looked at Y/N, dead serious.

"Ah... hehe..." Y/N scratched the back of his head

"We haven't a moment to spare. Our battle begins now." Ningguang said

Ningguang activated her vision powers and created a platform on the Jade Chamber where three Guizhong Ballistas appeared.

The Mountain Shaper, Cloud Retainer and the Moon Carver went to each of the three ballista and lent their strength to it. The Guizhong Ballistas glowed and started firing at the Overlord of the Vortex, Osial.

Suddenly, a portal opened on the platforms and the Fatui came out of it.

"The Fatui! They're attacking the Guizhong Ballista!" Paimon said

Keqing takes out her sword and charged at the Fatui while Lumine follows after her.

Keqing and Lumine started clashing with the Fatui while Y/N was standing there.
