Chapter 9

Y/N was eating at a restaurant in Inazuma City until Ayaka approached him.

"Y/N!" Ayaka called him

"Ayaka? What's wrong?" Y/N asked

"Have you seen Thoma?" Ayaka asked

"No, I haven't, but I heard there was going to be another vision taken. I'm kinda worried, to be honest." Y/N said

"Perhaps, Thoma was being targeted as the one hundredth vision to take to mark the success of the Vision Hunt Decree. Lumine and Paimon already headed there." Ayaka said

"What?!" Y/N stood up

"I'll head there as soon as possible!" Y/N said

"Alright." Ayaka said and she ran away

Y/N left his food with his payment and headed straight towards where the Shogun will be taking Thoma's vision.

Y/N arrived and he saw Lumine lying on the floor unconsciously as Paimon tries to wake her up and the Shogun approaching her with the Musuo no Hitotachi. Thoma was also seen trying to cut the rope tied on his hands.

When the Shogun was about to strike Lumine and Thoma threw a random spear at the Shogun. Y/N appeared between them and blocked both. The spear fell and the Musuo no Hitotachi was just above Y/N, not able to hit him.

"Thoma, take Lumine and Paimon here. I have to settle some things." Y/N said

"Got it." Thoma said

Thoma took Lumine and escaped with Paimon, leaving Y/N with the Shogun. Y/N blasted the Musuo no Hitotachi off of the Shogun's hand, making her let go of it.

"Stop the Vision Hunt Decree and I'll give you candy." Y/N said

The Shogun and her soldiers were dumbfounded for a moment and the Shogun makes a serious face.

"Do you think this is a joke?" The Shogun asked

"I have a question for you, where did you get your powers, young boy." The Shogun asked

"I don't know, I was born with this curse." Y/N said

"Curse? That's not a curse, that's a blessing from a god or rather, a blessing you stole from a god." The Shogun said

"Hey, I told you I was born with it, I didn't steal anything!" Y/N said

"Everything this curse gave me was pain. The one who were supposed to love me hurts me in the worst possible way ever!" Y/N shouted back

"I shall take that power from you, for a close friend of mine." The Shogun said

She picked the Musuo no Hitotachi and struck Y/N with it from the side. Y/N managed to stop it, but suddenly a thunderbolt hit him and he accidentally let go of the force around him, causing the Musuo no Hitotachi to hit him.

Y/N was sent flying to the side as The Shogun walks toward him. She lifts him up menacingly and points the blade on his neck.

"Hey... before I die... did you know, I had dreams of being with this girl who looked a lot like you... It seemed to be like in the past... I think her name was... Ei." Y/N said

The Shogun holds Y/N's neck harder, but Y/N broke free from it.

"I'm really, really, really strong. I defeated an ancient god and a Fatui Harbinger, but nothing hits harder than divine punishment." Y/N said, holding his wound on the side

The Shogun holds Y/N harder and Y/N starts suffocating.

"Stop, Ei." Y/N said

"Ei? Who are you to call someone Ei?" The Shogun asked

Y/N kicks The Shogun away from him and she traps Y/N within a dome.

"Well shit." Y/N said

Y/N crosses his finger and another dome of white breaks The Shogun's dome.

"How... Luci... No, Lucifer, you're..." The Shogun's eyes were wider

"I can kill you with this one move of mine, but that don't matter. Stop the Vision Hunt Decree or else I will make you." Y/N said

Y/N charges at The Shogun with an ice blade and tried to wound her, but The Shogun just hit him with a thunderbolt. Y/N creates shards of ice that were shot at The Shogun, but she just makes them disappear.

"Weak." The Shogun said

Y/N's vision suddenly started shaking and it flew towards The Shogun.

"Stop!" Y/N shouted

Y/N pulled it with his own force and the vision returned to him.

Y/N blasted The Shogun away and she was lying on the ground. Y/N sat on top of her while holding a bag of konpeitou.

"Stop the Vision Hunt. I'll give you this candy." Y/N said

The Shogun got mad and Y/N and she electrified him. Y/N ran away and exited his dome after that. The Shogun tried to chase after him, but Y/N had already disappeared.

"Sh-Shogun-sama, who were they?" A soldier from Inazuma asked

(sorry i forgot their names)

"Seize them under the decree. Next time, I will strike twice." The Shogun said
