There is an old man who lives in a small barung-barong at an unknown town who tills a mile-long land — but he owns nothing but a soil in his contorted nails. He is very industrious, in a way that he gets to work at two in the morning and sleeps at twelve midnight.

He has a neighbour. But not like him, he knows no sweat nor his nails have touched dirt all his life. He lives in a mansion, sleeps all day, and only works in his leisure time at the municipio.

At dinner, his neighbour has lechon, hamon, and all the rice the former has yielded.

And for the tired, old man, he got his bulad nga paglaom and a bandehado of pagod nga kaugmaon.
