Hajime's pov
Today's the day of the fair. I already paid to get in. I roam the area, avoiding Nagito's booth. I don't really want to see him trying not to stab his fingers off.
"Heyyyy Hajime!" Kokichi calls out to me
I turn "yea?"
"Do you know where Shuichi is? I can't find him anywhere." He said
"I haven't seen him. If I do I'll tell him your looking for him." I said
He shakes his head "no it's not just that. He went to the mall yesterday and never came back to the dorm. I'm really worried."
"Then let's go to the mall. We can ask if anyone's seen him." I suggest
He was at the mall but never came back?
Kokichi agrees and we head out to the mall.
Izuru's pov
I watch as hajime and kokichi go back inside the building. A horrible feeling sinks in my stomach. Shaking my head I turn to the booths. They'll be fine.
Kokichi's pov
"There's a killer on the loose. What if he got Shuichi?" I groaned
Me and hajime were on our way to the mall.
"Shuichi's smart. He can easily get away." Hajime said gently
I nod.
"Look there's the mall." He said
We enter the building and begin our search, asking anyone if they had seen him.
"No I'm sorry I haven't." A waitress said
"Ohhh." I groan
"Hey let's go over to the cafe' and ask there." Hajime said leading me to the cafe'
He leaves to ask a waitress there. I look up in time to see her nodding. I jump up and race over.
"Yeah I saw him yesterday with some man. The boy was unconscious but I thought it was just an hungover teen." She said
"Did you see where they went." I asked
She nodded "out the back door."
Me and hajime race over and open the door. No one. Nothing. I fall to my knees.
"Hey get up. You aren't helping by sitting there." Hajime says sharply
I nod and stand. Holding back tears, I begin to search for anything that could be a clue. Then suddenly, the ground seems to rush up to meet me. I hear faintly hajime yelling my name before I hear and see nothing at all.
