"This is Camp Wawanakwa, your home for the next eight weeks. The campers sitting around you will be you cabin mates, your competition, and maybe even your friends. Ya dig?" Chris explains

Harold looks over at Duncan, who glares at him with raising his fist.
"The camper who manages to stay on Total Drama Island the longest without getting voted off will win $100,000!" Chris Continues

"Excuse me? What will the sleeping arrangements be? Because I'd like to request a bunk under her. "Duncan points at heather and I roll my eyes

"They're not co-ed, are they?" She asks nervously

"No. Girls get one side of each cabin, and dudes get the other." Chris says nods his head left then right to emphasize
"Excuse me, Kyle? Can I have a cabin with the lake view since I'm the prettiest?" Lindsey asked and I seem to lose a brain cell when she talks and Erika "his name is Chris" she says mutters under her breath

"Okay, you are. But that's not really how it works here, and it's Chris."
Erika looked a little disappointed and just sat their trying to just listen to chris I was staring at Duncan wrestling a deer for fun and tuned out the drama twins Katie and sadie as well

This cannot be happening." Gwen as I turn back
As Owen pulls Gwen and Tyler into one arm hugs. But it looks more like a pair of headlocks
" Awww, come on guys! It'll be fun, it's like a big sleepover!" He says

"At least you don't have to sleep next to him." Tyler complains
I look back and continue watch Duncan give the deer a nuggie

"Here's the deal. We're gonna split you into two teams." He explains

" If I call your name out, go stand over there. Gwen. Trent. Heather. Cody. Lindsay. Beth. Katie. Owen. Leshawna. Justin. And... Noah. From this moment on, you are officially known as... the Screaming Gophers!"

[Chris throws Owen a large green banner which unfurls to reveal a gopher baring its teeth and looking for a fight.]

The rest of you, over here.(Y/N) Geoff. Bridgette. DJ. Tyler. Sadie. Izzy. Courtney. Ezekiel. Duncan. Eva,Erika, and... Harold. Move, move, move, move!" Chris says ignoring her question and getting on with the schedule

"But Katie's a Gopher! I have to be a Gopher!" Protested looking over to her 'lover' that's what they acted like and honestly wouldn't be surprised

"Sadie, is it? Come on, it'll be okay." Courtney Says as she tries to console her She gently leads Sadie away our teammates.
"This is so unfair! I miss you, Katie!"sadly

"I miss you too!"

You guys will officially be known as... the Killer Bass!"Chris says as he throws Harold a red banner that unrolls to show a angry looking fish.

"That's awesome! It's like... amazing!"Harold says looking down at the banner

"All right, campers, you and your team will be on camera in all public areas during this competition he says to us leading us toward the main square of the camp " You will also be able to share your innermost thoughts on tape with video diaries anytime you want. Let the audience at home know what you're really thinking. Or, just get something off your chest!" He says in the confessional
" Alright, any questions? Cool. Let's find your cabins." He says after walking out Gwen Lindsey and owen went in one by one when they were finished we headed toward the cabins lead by Chris " Gophers, you're in the east cabin. Bass, you're in the west." he says before letting us go in to put our stuff away
