Something Cielo always used to adore was stories. Whether they were tales of princesses and warriors, of heartache and hope, of rebellions and anarchy, she didn't care. Anything that would take her far away from her tiny village, her tiny life, and let her explores things that she'd never be able to otherwise. She could be someone else for a little while. She could commands armies, fall in love, walk on the clouds and let the whole world melt away. However, despite her ever-growing library of books and tales, her favourite was always of Persephone, the kidnapped Goddess of Spring made Queen of the underworld. And when she heard the theme for the ball was vibrance and decadence, there was only a thing that came to mind. Her favourite story, brought to life.
Her costume is composed of several elements that try and display her thoughts on the whole story of Persephone, as shown below.

Of course, Persephone was the Goddess of Spring, and so Blue wanted her dress to show that. A delicate lilac colour, the fabric is a combination of silk and tulle and contains a corset type bodice, entirely covered in flowers. To Blue, the flowers were in direct correlation with the guidelines. What's more vibrant and decadent than a whole plethora of flowers sewn onto a bodice? But something that Blue also loved about Persephone's character in particular was the fact that there was also a hint of darkness. She wasn't just an innocent maiden who caused flowers to bloom wherever she went, she was the Queen of the underworld. A ruler and an empress of a domain characterised by being dark and terrifying. The idea that she was just a lovely rose with a demure smile and a pretty face annoyed Blue. She could be both sweet and powerful at the same time, and that is where the thorns come in. On her mask and necklace, thorn type branches can be seen, adding that slight darkness that Blue wanted to show. Her hair is a beautiful combination of the two, deep and stunning flowers combined with the thorn like branches. Overall, it's an aesthetic Blue loves, and she can't wait to go to the ball and see everyone else's creations.
