Chapter 2

I see Nikki glance over here and she sees me alone. "I'll be right back" Nikki says to her friends

All of a sudden I see Nikki get up from her table and come in my direction and sit down next to me.

"Hey" Nikki says cheerfully.
"Hey" I say not as happy.
"What's up" she says concerned.
"Nothing" I say annoyed.
"I'm not leaving until you tell me"she says seriously,then takes my phone. "what's up?"

"Sophie rejected me ... again and I don't want to try again "
I say just as serious and a little sad.

She seems sad for me, I think she's a great person, and really nice too.

"Well you're a great a great guy and any girl would be lucky to have you"

"Thanks Nikki" I say happily. She made me smile and now she knows her job is done.

"Your welcome" she says then pokes my cheek "Newt". She puts my phone on the table and walks back to her table.
