Oh, the smell of ashes fills the air
And we all watch from afar
Watch all all things in which we care
And all things that left twisted scars
Burn down to dust
Oh, the sound of my lover's scream fills my ears
The sound of fire's licks burns away those dark years
And i wait, wait for a new beginning
And no one will ever, ever know i'm no longer living
When it all burns down we sing our prayers
Our voices piercing through the air
When it all burns down we try to start again
When we start over, make new friends
The truth never hides for long
And of this truth, now one has ever been fond.
When it all burns down
We start the cycle over again
