How easily it's all been torn down
Easy as paper to the rain
And how quickly it all changed
Seeming to never be the same
Feels as if the air is water
And my feet are buried in the sand
Trapped here to wait
Trapped here to watch
And when I finally breathe in that familiar air
When I hear the roaring highway
When I watch the clouds drift by
As if it's just another day
As if nothing has ever changed-
Its as if it never happened at all
