THAT'S HOW IT ALL started, being everyone's favourite in your high school and university, you fell for that one guy. with a snap you could - literally - have anyone you want but you just wanted that one out of all. days and years passing and here you were being obvious with your feelings yet he was oblivious.

"y/n-chan~ take table number four's order please" more than four years waiting for him to fall for you yet he still didn't, you knew him for almost ten years and that's how long you've been working here and you had a small crush on him that wasn't tamed.

"y/n?" he always had this smile that can make everyone fall for him, his almost permanent smile that lits up your little world of yours like how a child's with a new toy. you wanted to. see him smile, always and he did.

"y/n?!" you snapped out of your daze, eyes widening from the sudden contact "y-yeah?" you frantically looked around seeing his concerned smile, "were you dreaming?" asked the oblivious guy infront you "uhh, no?" you answered though it sounding almost like a question, he laughed softly.

you've never really been in love, not seriously. but this guy makes you feel in some sort of way that no one has ever did, not a single guy who you've dated so far.

"sorry what were you asking?" you asked getting back into your work form, "y/n, you can take a day off if you're not feeling well" you heard from behind you turning with a smile you said "I'm completely fine, angry!" you patted his shoulder to which he just nodded resuming his work.

it was always like this, you dreaming and one of kawata bringing you back to reality by yelling your name for almost all the day, you couldn't help. you couldn't help but think an life you always desired with him, nahoya. this man had you wrapped in his fingers, you never regretted falling for him just seeing him made you happy.

but you couldn't deny the fact there's a fear in the pit of your soul where your feelings might end up a single-hearted one, getting rejected by him was the only thing that stopped you from confessing your feelings towards him. or maybe it's the fact that everyone could see through you.

you believed he would be aware of your feelings and secretly was in love with you but at the same time over-thinking session in the middle of the nights convinced he doesn't feel the same way, even souya knows it but tries to keep it down as you literally begged him to tell his brother. he couldn't help but agree looking at your tears stained face.

it was hard especially working with him almost all days in a week, "y/n-chan~" you smiled at him "yeah? any help?" he nodded signalling you to come over "yeah what's wrong?" he leaned on the counter from the other side, your heart fluttering at the gesture, he never failed to smile at all situations.
