Chapter 6

I got the  keys to the car and drove into town.

* Skip car ride*

Stacy went into my the store with Max.

She got a pregnancy test, and paid for it.

She went into the bathroom while max waited patiently for Stacy to come out

"This is brought excitement for one day." Sarah said laughing.

"Sarah." I said serious.

"Sorry but it's true." She said s laughing.

I couldn't resist it was kinda funny, up started laughing.

Sarah joined in with me.

"Shh" I said to Sarah.

Max and Stacy walked to the car. Max let Stacy in first.

"So." I said looking back at Stacy.

"I don't no for sure nothing's showed up yet." She said looking at Max.

"Stacy it's okay." I said calmy to her

"Thanks Emma." She said finally looking at me.

I turned around and started the car.

  * Skip car ride *

When we got back home, mom's car was in the drive way.

"Crap, what am I going to do now. My mom doesn't want me to be with you anymore." Max said mad.

"Max it's okay, everything going to be okay." Stacy said positive.

"Okay." Max said settling down.

Sarah and I walked in before Max and Stacy.

"Hey mom." I said smiling at her.

"Hey hun, where's your brother?"

"Outside, he will be in here in a minute."

"Okay thanks darling."

Sarah and I sat on couch, waiting for Max and Stacy to come in.

We turned on tv and waited.

They hadn't came in after 10 minutes.

"Where are they?" Sarah asked me.

"I don't know," I said looking at her, "I'll go check."

I went outside. They weren't there. The car wasn't there either. They had taken the car.

Up ran inside, "Sarah, they took the car." I whispered into her ear.

"Now what," she said looking  me, "you can't tell your mom they ran away, can you?"

"I dont know Sarah, I don't know."

We sat in silence. My mom came in " Wheres max?"

"Um he must have gone out with his friends. It's fine he should be home soon." I said looking straight into her crying eyes.

We sat in a moment of silence. "Well we are going to go upstairs mom." I said looking at the ground.

"Okay, ill see you for supper." She said heading to her room.

We went upstairs and into my room. "Is your mom going to be ok?" Sarah asked.

"Yeah she'll be fine." I said shutting my door.

Sarah got out her phone. "Should I text max," she said tapping for her life, "do you think he'll answer?"

"I dont know Sarah but you and I should both text him, see if he's okay."
