I was walking with Miu, walking inside the school. I heard footsteps behind me. Must be Kokichi. I turn my head to see him not there. Huh. Weird. My thoughts are interrupted by Miu. "Shuichi!! I heard there's a new student in class. I wonder what they look like." Miu smiled. "I met him yesterday." I brag. The blondie gasped. "Really?! What's his name?! What does he look like?! Is he cute?! Is he tall?!" She asks. Miu's currently looking for a boyfriend, sure I would date her but, I lean more onto boys. I chuckle. "No. He's deaf, short, & nice." I answer. "That's all?" She asks raising a brow. I nod. "Yep!"

Class Time

I sit in class doodling in my notebook. I look up, wondering if Kokichi's gonna come. He was all I could think about last night. I'm also worried. What if Kaito & Kaede beat him up? I can't just sit here & let it happen. I got up & started walking out the class when I felt a hand grab my wrist. I turn to see Kaede smiling at me. "Where're you going lovebug?" She winked. I roll my eyes in disgust. "I'm trying to look someone." I say. "And who is this someone?" She asks. "Why do you care?" I ask, trying to get my hand out her tight grasp. I look out the window of the class, & spot Kokichi. I emmidietly got out of Kaede's grip & run to his side.

Hallway/Nurse

He look bruised up. Without thinking I emmidietly take him to the nurse. He hasnt said anything, or even signed. I'm starting to worry. I help up on the nurse's bed, quickly grabbing a first aid kit & helped him with his bruises.

'Are you ok?'

'Yes but at the same time no.'

'Oh...what happened..? You can trust me.'

'Why would I trust you? I just met you two yesterday.'

'Well..I'm a good person.'

'Your a liar. You said all the kids are nice here. And look at me. Beaten up on my first day of school.'

He's not wrong. I did lie. But how was I supposed to know Kaede & Kaito were gonna be coming after him on the first day? Losers & low life fuckers. That's who. Keade & Kaito.

'Sorry I lied...I just wanted you to feel comfortable & safe.'

'..I don't accept your apology. Thanks for helping though.'

He smiled & walked out the nurse's office.
