The night was cold and windy, and he was unable to find a hotel to stay. He had to hurry, or he would have turned into a snowman.

About an hour after, he found one. A board was hanging on its wall, and something was carved on it in ancient Chinese.

He quickly took out his phone and translated the text, and it read, "The Hotel of Chang'an".

Chang'an was the old name of his city which was later changed to Xi'an.

It was not so good; it had three floors but looked so eerie and old.

It had a small garden in front of the entrance. It was so weird; it had some strange looking thorny flowers and bushes.

He wanted to continue his search, but it was the only option in that area. So, he unwillingly accepted the circumstances and forced himself to go forward and adjust.

He walked up to the small garden. His eyes narrowed when he took a closer look at the old wooden door, which had a massive crack at the entrance with other small cut and burn marks.

He gazed around for a while and realized that the walls had weird red coloured spots.

Its condition was as if the hotel was attacked many years ago with swords and spears and stones.

He carefully opened the door. It made a sharp creaking sound. He slowly entered the hall; it had a wooden floor and some long dining tables.

He reached for the reception. The receptionist had long black hair with a long beard; he had terrible wounds and scars on his face. He stared hard at the receptionist like he had seen him before and now trying to remember where.

"I need a room for three days," he said.

"The first floor," the receptionist said in a deep voice, pointing towards the staircase.

"Entries? Keys?"

"No Entries. No Keys."

He did not want any argument there, as there was no other choice. So he quietly climbed up the staircase and lazily entered his room.

He was wondering that why was it the only room on that floor?

And why was the entire room so spooky? There was an old sliding door, no bed, just a cotton-filled mattress, no lights, no electric plugs, the mirrors were broken, and a wire net covered the windows.

He just stopped thinking, threw his bags down, and fell on the mattress. He rested till the afternoon and then ate some food.

He decided to visit out the next day. So, he ate, used his phone, and slept.

Hewas just afraid about the night. He didn't want any nightmares about the creepyname or the flashbacks of the old man.
