(Your Pov)
Today, I was once again taking a walk with Kallen in the settlement. The weather was good. The rays of the sun were bright, the sky blue and high. I liked this kind of sky. I like it? This kind of sky? When and where did I come to like it? Was the sky I had come to like the sky of Area 11, of Japan, or was it the sky of Britannia? I couldn't remember. Was the current sky similar to the sky I had seen long ago?
"Again."- Kallen
"Huh?"- (y/n)
"You're thinking about something again. You get this look on your face."- Kallen
"Oh sorry."- (y/n)
"That might be a good thing, actually. If something occurs to you in your mind, it might trigger the return of your memories."- Kallen
"It be nice if that were the case."- (y/n)
"What were you thinking about?"- Kallen
"I definitely know this place. Like the Elevens would."- (y/n)
"As I though, you also call them that!"- Kallen
"Huh?!"- (y/n)
Kallen shot a criticizing/disappointed look at me. Did I say something wrong? But, I wasn't really sure what it was. The two of us sunk into silence as we stared at each other. Time was the only thing that passed.
"Hey Kallen. If I said something wrong can you tell me so I can apologize. The last thing I want is for you to hate me."- (y/n)
"I don't.... I don't hate you. It's that word, "Eleven". This place is actually the country called "Japan", and the people called Elevens are really Japanese, and yet, people still call them that."- Kallen
"Oh I think I understand. I'm certain that, among the memories that I lost, there were things about this country of Japan and about the Japanese. After all I do feel more nostalgic here than I do back in Britannia."- (y/n)
This situation could, by no means, be mended from mere words. I just tried to express what I was feeling. At those words, Kallen's eyes softened.
"I see, could it be...that you were born in Area 11?"- Kallen
"Who knows I sure don't hehehe. My only question would be what was I doing in Britannia. But for right now I'm neither."- (y/n)
"So you're neither an Eleven, nor a Britannian, then?"- Kallen
"That seems to fit me as for now. A wanderer who belongs to neither the Japanese or Britannia. It's kinda funny."- (y/n)
This time it was Kallen who was deep in thought. What did I do to make her so strangely thoughtful? After having spoken with Kallen, I felt I could now clearing explain this feeling within myself. Though, that was just ascertaining one of the sources of my confusion. I still understand nothing about myself.
"Well it's not really a bad this. If you belong to neither that gives you a choice about how you want to live. But still, you may have moved forward a little."- Kallen
"Will strolling idly like this really bring about results?"- (y/n)
"It will. By going around and seeing more, you may be remember more."- Kallen
"So, can I continue to ask your help in this?"- (y/n)
"Of course. I am the person in charge of helping you, after all."- Kallen
Time skip (Club house)
When I returned to the clubhouse, at the entrance I came across Milly.
