The monitor showed a straight line, presenting death. Oh, this isn't happening; not acceptable. I stared in horror at her, tears uncontrollable as they rolled down my eyes. "Euphie!" I called, but my two companions prevented me from getting closer to her. "Hold on! You can't die!" For one last time, I saw her faint smile through her bloodstained face. I cried and demanded for them to let go of me, and they did. Steps away from her deathbed, I promised to avenge her, to seek for Zero. I turned to Lloyd whose head sunk low, same with Cecile. "Please.." "Suzaku, can't you see--" Screams filled the room. And I saw him fix his glasses. Then there came complete darkness.

Just before Suzaku could even think about murdering his father, a young Britannian Prince came into the dark room and ordered a peace treaty between Japan, him and his sister. In exchange, he'd turn on his motherland and sell out information that would be useful in both strategic and tactical battles between the two countries. What happens when even after 7 years, the two countries are still fighting and the Chinese Federation along with the EU join the war? Will Japan surrender and swallow their pride? Ayanokoji Kiyotaka opened his eyes, his mind still foggy, to find himself in an unfamiliar setting. A ghostly city stretched around him, its crumbling buildings and deserted streets bathed in a cold, otherworldly light. Everything seemed frozen in an oppressive silence, as if time itself had abandoned this place. It wasn't long before he encountered others, each introducing themselves with a peculiar title: "Ultimate." They offered little explanation, but their talents seemed to define them. The glances they exchanged were heavy with distrust, as though bound by an invisible threat. Then, a cold, mechanical voice broke the silence, echoing through the air: the rules of a deadly game were laid out before them. This was no simple test of survival. It was a battle where only the strongest, the smartest, or the most ruthless could hope to emerge alive. There were no details about their captors, no explanation for why they had been brought here. Just harsh rules and one certainty: there would be no room for weakness. Ayanokoji, calm and unshaken, observed the others. Some tried to remain optimistic, others sought answers, but it was clear this place would reveal the true nature of everyone present. In this forgotten city, the shadows seemed to grow longer and thicker with each passing hour. Every step, every word, every silence could conceal a trap. The Ultimates, with their enigmatic talents, would become either allies or enemies. But in this merciless game, one question lingered, hanging like a silent threat: who was pulling the strings of this macabre theater, and why had Ayanokoji been dragged into it?
