৲ seasick

i smell the salt of the sea, lying on the dead end shores,
mammoth tides that wash over the rocks on the ocean floor,
what a beautiful sight to watch from the sand covered land,
i beg the tides to carry me far away to a land, far from the coast,
but i wonder what it's like to be underwater,
to discover the odds, to dive deeper into the blues,
to envision the underworld of mystery in different hues,
a calm environment with various lost treasures to find,
the depth of the ocean being just as deep as my mind,
i let myself bask in the sunset rays that fall over the ripples,
you waited for him but he took you for granted,
and when you left, even the tides of the ocean couldn't stop you,
but darling have faith, for you'll find someone who won't leave footprints on the shore and walk away;

someone better than him,

one who would meet you in the depths of the ocean where you used to swim.
