Was it the right thing to write love you simply as a message? Was it too much?

Helena felt stupid — he read it and didn't respond. Nothing at all. And she knew he wouldn't answer it later on — why the hell did she cared about it now? It wasn't like she never used those two, sometimes three words, but with him it had a completely different value.

He wasn't just a guy she was friends with, nah, freddy was much more to her. Crazy, other worldly even, yet Hel enjoyed the feelings inside her. Like thousands of colors swirled within her soul everytime she saw him, got a cute text or his voice. His voice. Dreamy.

She sounded like a desperate teenager girl in love with the baddest bad boy, however she wasn't a girl anymore and he was far from bad. Literally, he was the embodied of talent and sunshine.

But in this moment — fingers hovered over her phone — there was the color orange filled in her eyes. Utterly confusion. No rest in her head, pounding heart, heavy grip on her soul.

Tears forming at the corners of her eyes.
