The Secret is out!

"You know you can tell us Jungkook-aah!" Jimin said rubbing his hand over Jungkook's, Jungkook stared at their hands clasped together, It wasn't a cold day but Jungkook was trembling like no tomorrow. 

"Jungkook-ah! You can trust us... You know that right?" Taehyung said kneeling in front of Jungkook, willing for him to open up to them. They could see that Jungkook wasn't all right as he said, and they wanted him to know that they were there for him, no matter what the situation is they can deal with it together!

Not being able to control himself anymore Jungkook broke down in front of his dear friends, scaring them a little. 

"Hey!! It's gonna be alright! We are here with you" Jimin said softly as he hugged Jungkook back, who shook as he cried in their arms, as the events of the day flashed in his mind again.

They had tight schedules as the promotions for their upcoming album started, Jungkook went through the script of what they had to do in the next segment, It was a lie detector test! 

Jungkook, genuinely thought it would be fun! well, everything was fun, with his Hyungs around, so he looked forward to it. Pretending to be deeply engrossed in the script, Jungkook stole glances at his Yoongi Hyung, who was calmly sitting on a chair letting the makeup Noona do her job. Jungkook wondered if Yoongi even needed makeup? he already appeared to be flawless to him.  

"Jungkook-ah! Can you pass me the coffee cup?"His chain of thoughts broke as he heard Yoongi calling for him, " Yeah Hyung!" He flashed his bunny smile, hopping off quickly to get his coffee, "Thanks!" Yoongi flashed his cutest smile making Jungkook's heart skip a beat, Jungkook loved how Yoongi always chose him if he needed help, it made him feel that his Hyung trusted him, moreover, it made him think that Yoongi's comfort level with him was the most! 

The thought of it made him feel butterflies in his stomach. 

While it made him feel all giddy in a good way, It was also one of the reasons Jungkook could never let Yoongi know of his true feelings! He cannot risk his current relationship with Yoongi get messed up. He cannot let that happen in any situation!

Even while Jungkook daydreams and hopes of things working out after he confesses, deep down he knows no such thing would happen- He knows his Yoongi Hyung all too well to stop himself from dreaming stuff like that, He knows what would happen- If Yoongi gets to know how Jungkook feels, He would feel guilty- even though its not his fault at all! He would feel that it was his fault that Jungkook felt this way, that he must have led him on in some way, that he is causing Jungkook all the pain that the Maknae doesn't deserve!

He would start distancing himself not just from Jungkook but everyone, The atmosphere for the group will become awkward and strained, Yoongi might even decide to leave. There was no way he could let Yoongi suffer again because of him, he still remembers very well how his Vlive stunt made Yoongi all guilty of ruining Jungkook's image and how he always tried to avoid him in lives since then. If something like this happens it would be a complete blunder! He simply cannot risk the future of Bangtan being selfish!

His chain of thoughts broke as Jimin shook him, "Jungkook-aah? Are you fine? You look like you are about to cry." Jimin said checking on him clearly worried, " Yeah, am all-right. I was just missing ARMY." Jungkook smiled making Jimin shake his head, Jungkook can lie well now excuses come naturally to him, " Let's go then. They are calling us." Jimin said pulling Jungkook with him.

The shoot was really fun as they fooled around with the most absurd questions, having a heart-ly laugh. While Jungkook still felt bad when Yoongi appeared to be closer to other members, he learned how to not to let it show, He was having a great time as he managed to focus on having fun, until the last question came up...

"So this is the last question for Jungkook, and this is also the last question for the whole segment as well... Jungkook do you have feelings for someone in the group?" Taehyung read the question out loud before he could stop himself, making the members tense up a little- The question wasn't supposed to be asked, however being a live segment there was no way to edit it out.

Jungkook gulped as he looked at Taehyung nervously, "Yah... Jungkook-aah! If you say yes and it buzzes am gonna take it personally! You say all the time that you love us, this is the right time to prove it!" Jin stepped in quickly, lightening the atmosphere immediately with his laugh.

"Aniyo, I don't have feelings for anyone." Jungkook said playing along with Jin, thanking his stars that he was there to handle the situation, welcoming the shock from the machine the next moment making him yell out in pain!

Jungkook couldn't help but think about how miserable he was... He couldn't help but think about how he had these feelings that were believed to be the most beautiful feeling in the whole world and yet he couldn't express them, He had to keep them to himself as an ugly secret! 

The memory of hearing Yoongi and Jin's conversation few days before came back flooding-  The pain broke Jungkook instantly, He knew the segment was still ongoing but he couldn't help himself, all he could think about was to run away. 

He quickly got up and went to stand behind Jin, his eyes already moist and red. The members couldn't help but notice, Jungkook hated himself he knew he was creating a scene out of nothing, but tears won't stop, he ran to the bathroom as soon as he heard Director calling "Cut!". 

He knew members would be worried because of his sudden outburst! He hated himself for being so weak that he couldn't handle his own feelings! 

"Jungkook-aah? are you okay?"He heard Jimin knocking from outside, he looked at his reflection in the mirror he looked miserable, "I... I am fine... I just feel a bit sick, can you please tell members to go ahead? I will just be back." Jungkook managed to say as he wiped his tears away roughly. 

Jungkook managed to come back to the dorm, thankfully Jimin didn't push him on their way back, and the other members had schedules to attend leaving only the maknae line alone in the dorm. Jungkook excused himself with the excuse of willing to get some sleep, but as soon he was alone his eyes welled up again, this time because of all the skinship and laughs Yoongi shared with members today. 

Jungkook doesn't remember leaving the door open, he doesn't know when Jimin and Taehyung came to check on him either. Jungkook couldn't see their faces clearly because of his tear-filled eyes, but he could make out that they were taken aback! 

Jimin rushed forward taking Jungkook in his arms without wasting time,  "Jungkook-ah!! What's wrong talk to us"Taehyung worried hugging Jungkook as well.

"Is it... is it because of Yoongi Hyung?" Taehyung asked hesitating a bit as Jungkook simply denied to utter a word, making Jungkook's eyes go wide in horror. Making it clear for Jimin and Taehyung that their suspicions were spot on!

"Ho...No..what are you.."Jungkook finally tried speaking just to be cut in between, 

"We are not fools Jungkook, we have been together almost 9 years now. There is no need to lie to us! We are not judging you or anything, we are here for you!! You can share with us."Taehyung said sitting beside him embracing him, and Jungkook could hear the sound of his heart shattering once again, as memories of the conversation he overheard came back!
