I remember when we broke through the atmosphere. A lot of people were afraid, I had already come close to my death, I didn't think it would be much of a big deal if I died, it couldn't be much different from my original death sentence. I remember when we hit the ground, there was no humming from a machine, it was silent. I unbuckled my seatbelt and looked to Harper
"We're alive?" I said, it sounded more like a question, I stood up, most of the other Delinquents had already went down to the first level
"Yeah" she replied as she stood up
"And we're on earth" I said with a smile and then went toward the ladder, crawling down. I recognized a few faces; Finn Collins, Jasper Jordan, Monty Green, Wells Jaha and Clarke Griffin. I didn't know Clarke or Wells very well, I had heard of them from stories that my brother told me when I was locked up. He was so close to being a member of the guard, so close to freeing me and he was gone, I remember that day like it was yesterday. Marcus Kane walking into our little home, having guards hold me back as I tried to save him, I remembered how he told me that it was gonna be okay, then I remembered what came after. The emptiness, the guilt, the numbness, I remembered it all and the worst part was that I could only blame myself. I wasn't really listening to what was happening. I only caught the little things like the guard had escorted me on to the ship hugging a girl, someone yelling to say that the girl was Octavia Blake. One half of the Blake Siblings; they were lucky. Octavia's mother was still alive to be blamed for having a second child which saved her son from being killed, I wasn't even close to being that lucky. I watched as the door opened and the girl-Octavia walked down the ramp and breathed in the fresh earth air
"We're back, bitches!" she yelled
