CHAPTER 27: Surprise

Jennie kim POV

Today is my birthday but I'm too busy to celebrate it.

Rose and jisoo invite me to the bar earlier to have a drink that's why I'm late to go back home.

They want me to stay more longer there but I said I can't because I have something to do.

But the truth is I just want to go home early I know it's sounds corny but I miss her already.

At home.

I enter the house but I didn't see lisa and all the light are off.

"Lisa?". I call her but nobody answer.

I turn on the light and walk to the kitchen.

"SURPRISE!!!!!!".

I'm shocked.

I saw lisa standing in front of me while holding a cake.

"Happy birthday". Lisa said with a smile on her face.

Beautiful.

I just standing there staring at her. Damn I can't take my eyes off of her she so beautiful in that dress.

"Em j-jennie?". Lisa call me

"Hmm". I hummed and averted my gaze to somewhere.

"I'm sorry if you don't like it, emm it's okay you can go to sleep now let me just clean all of this." Lisa said and put the cake on the table.

"Hey, hey what are you doing?". I ask her.

"I'm sorry if I made a messed in your house I just want to surprise you but I guess it's failed". She said and look down on her feet.

I go near her and wrapped my hands around her waist.

"Lisa". I call her softly.

I put my hand under her chin and make her face me. I can see her watery eyes maybe she thought I don't like her surprise.

"Hey, what are you saying? Who said that I don't like it?". I said.

"I-i thought you~

"I love it lisa, thank you so much". I said and kiss her forehead.

"Your welcome". She said and smile.

We just stare at each other and didn't say anything.

"Em let's eat? I already prepared the food". Lisa said and I nodded.

I broke the hug but when she about to walk I hold her again.

"Wae?". She ask me.

"My kiss?." I ask her.

She blush but she still lean closer to me and give me a peck on my cheek.

"Nor, nor, nor, not there lisa but here". I said and point at my lips.

She just stare at me with her eyes wide open.

I chuckled.

"I'm just kidding ok, come on let's eat". I said and she walk away from me.

Lisa POV

I'm so happy right now because jennie love my surprise. Our dinner is full funny story and laugh.

I just finish taking shower and now I just wear my a bathrobe.

"Oh yeah I forgot her gift." I mumbled to my self.

I change my clothes and take the gift and go straight to her room.

I knock on her door and wait for her to open it.

She open the door and I saw her sweating hard.

"Yes?". She ask.

"Are you okay?". I ask her concern.

"Yes I'm okay". She said and breathing heavily and ask me to get inside her room.

"Hey are you sure". I ask and hold her forehead checking if she have a fever.

"Em yeah, so what do you want?". She said and sit down on her bed.

I hand her the gift and she look at me confused.

"This is for you." I said

She take it and open the box.

"I'm sorry Jennie I can't buy you some expensive gift I just can afford this kind of gift for you I hope you like it." I said.

She look at me and smile.

"Lisa it's beautiful, thank you so much I don't care about how much is this gift I don't care about that so don't worry this is enough for me". Jennie said and hug me.

"Really?". I ask.

She nodded at me.

I just bought her a shirt, perfume and a new black heels so she can wear it when she go to work.

But I still have one special thing for her.

"Open the last box". I said and she open it.

"Lisa". She called me and still looking at the gift.

"Did you like it?". I ask her.

She put it on her table beside her bed.

"It's perfect lisa". She said and look at me.

"I'm happy that you like it." I said and sit on her bed.

It's our wedding photo.

She sat down beside me and ask me.

"Where did you get that from?". She ask

"I got that from grandma she send it to me so I'm planning to print it and put it inside the frame." I said.

She nodded and thank me.

"What happened to you earlier? Why are you sweating? In the middle of the night? Are you sure you okay?". I ask her.

I saw her gulp and her face bacome red.

What is wrong with her?

I go near her but when I want to move I felt something at the back of my tighs.

"What is this?". I said and stand up.

"Hmm". Jennie hummed and look at me.

"This". I said and lift up the blanket to see what's under it.

Oh it's her iPad.

Damn I almost broke it because I sit on top of it.

I take the iPad and hand it to Jennie.

What kind of iPad is this? It's so heavy.

But before jennie can reach it my index finger accidentally pressed the button and the iPad now is on.

And I saw something that I'm not supposed to see.

I just stand there dumbstruck with my eyes and mouth wide open same like jennie.
