Today was the day, I was going to tell my dad that like I like girls. i walked downstairs of our house and saw he was cooking dinner. It smelled delicious but i didn't want to get side-tracked. I yelled out to him¨ Dad! Can you come here please?¨ He nodded and turned the heat of the pan  down. I sat on the couch, fidgeting with my hands. He sat down next to me and said,¨ Firecracker, whats wrong?¨ I looked at him and said,¨I have to tell you something¨, ¨did you and Chanel (Mina's daughter) get in trouble at UA again. I told you to-¨, he said, but i cut him off by covering his mouth.  ¨No, Dad, its something bigger than that.¨, i removed my hand from his mouth as he looks at me with concern.  He held my hand and said,¨Firecracker..?¨ I slowly got teary-eyed and said,¨Dad, I'm telling you this because I have the confidence and its slowly fading by the second. I'm telling you this because I trust you enough and I've been holding onto this for awhile and-¨, ¨Y/N!¨, ¨I like girls!¨ I started crying then,I didn't know how he would react.  I've seen videos of different reactions, Some parents abused their kids until they moved out, some were supportive.  I really was hoping my dad, my best friend, was supportive. I looked at my dad who looked shocked, i cried harder and said,¨ I'm sorry, i really am. I can't control myself when i see a pretty girl. I understand if you.... hate me now but-¨  I was pulled into a hug, i was surprised. I heard him sniffling and said,¨ You found out .¨ I pushed myself off of me and said,¨You knew?!¨ My dad chuckled and said,¨Of course i knew, i saw you drooling over a pretty girl at the mall while I was supervising you and Alex's (Sero's kid) hang out . You too were literally flaunting over the same girl¨,  I turned red in embarrassment,  he hugged me and kissed my forehead. ¨Honey, itś alright if you like girls, i honestly don't care if you bring a girl named rebecca home.¨  I giggled and he continued,¨I just want to make sure you don't let yourself get taken advantage of. Doesn't matter what gender, people will still hurt a precious heart like yours, promise you will be careful on who you choose to date.¨,¨ I promise.¨ We both smiled and hugged each other tighter until he got a call.  I let go and he saw that it was Auntie Mina, he answered,put it on speaker, and said,¨Yes,Pinky?¨ Mina replied,¨CHANEL JUST CAME OUT TO ME AS A LESBIANA AND SAID SHE WAS DATING Y/N! I CALLED TO  CONFIRM!¨ My dad looked at me and i said,¨ Surprise..!¨
