~Ambrosine's POV~

"Do you want to take a break, Your Highness?" Felix asked, right now we were sparring against each other, did I mention that after I snitched on the previous tutor, Felix has been the one training me? Well now you know.

Anyway, this is the eighth time in an hour that I got defeated by Felix, he says that I have improved since I managed to land a hit on him whereas he was literally beating the shit outta me. "Sure," I answer, not wanting to kiss the ground any more, "I wanna go to Athy," I tell Felix, raising both of my arms for him to pick me up. "Yes Your Highness," Felix picks me up and walks towards Claude's room.

'Huh?' I heard Athy's voice in my head, making me snap my head up, "Athy is awake," I mumble, loud enough for Felix to hear me, and once he did, he started walking faster, almost bumping into Claude who was heading in the same direction. We walked in together and saw Athy and the young warlock who treated Athy and was actually Lucas, talking about eating something. Both of them turned to look at us after hearing the door open.

Felix halted at the sight of Athy awake and I swear I saw tears form in his eyes, I looked at Athy and grinned big, giving her a thumbs up. "Daddy! Amy!" Athy rose from the bed and started running towards us but halfway through, she tripped and was about to fall face first on the ground while I watched in amusement, waiting for it to happen but Claude just had to ruin everything and catch her.

'Did he just catch me?' Athy asked me in my mind, 'No shit Sherlock,' I reply in a sassy tone. Claude raised his hand and touched her head, 'He's not gonna fling me off?' Athy asked again but this time I didn't bother to respond as I was way too mesmerized by the scene in front of me. Claude picked Athy up and stared at her for a few short seconds before speaking, "You don't feel sick anymore?" Athy just shook her head in response, "Such a beautiful father-daughter moment, right Felix?" I whispered to Felix, "Yes Your Highness," he replied,

"But Your Highness is-"

"Don't ruin the moment Felix," I cut him off and he just nodded.

"There won't be any other side effects?" Claude asked Lucas who was looking at me the whole time, 'The fuck does he want?' I wonder while looking at him, Athy was about to say something but was cut off by the warlock's violent coughing, making me flinch at the volume. Claude and Lucas had some conversation about Athy but I didn't bother to listen as I was thinking about why Athy didn't come to me yet.

After a few minutes of Lucas coughing, Felix put me down on the ground and went to Lucas and took him out of the room. A few minutes later, Lily came bursting into the room and went straight to Athy and started crying, "I finally get to see you again, I-I'm so. For the past month, I thought I'd never see you again, so I-" Lily was cut off by Athy, "A month?" She asked, "Yes," Felix responded.

'Wow, I didn't know that I was invisible,' I spat at Athy in my mind, her head snapped towards me and she put on a big grin, "Amy!" She exclaimed, motioning for Claude to put her down but instead of doing that, he pick me up so now his right hand was supporting Athy's weight while his left hand was supporting mine. Athy hugged me but I didn't hug her back, "Are you mad at me?" She asked while rubbing the back of her head, "Took you long enough to notice my existence," I pouted and turned my head away with my arms crossed and eyes closed, a few seconds later, I felt something soft on my cheek and heard a 'mwah' making me widen my eyes and turn my towards my twin, "Hehe, can you forgive me?" She asked in a cute tone, I just brought my cheeks close to her face as a sign for her to give me another kiss and she did, "Okay," I mumble.

I looked upwards towards Claude and saw a fucking smile on his face, a few seconds later I heard giggling and looked towards the remaining two adults who were trying to stop their giggles. My face heated up when I realized what the hell I just did and I buried my face in Claude's chest, 'Stupid! Stupid! Stupid!' I mentally slapped and cursed myself.

~Athanasia's POV~

Lucas was telling me about Raven when he suddenly threw him at me, "Your Dad' s coming," he said and sat up straight, and not even a second later, the door opened to reveal Claude and Felix but no Amy. I ran up to him and gripped his robe, "Daddy where is Amy?" I ask because if Felix is here then there probably won't be anyone to protect Amy right now. "She was with Felix," he answered, I looked at Felix and asked him the same thing, "Her Highness was sleeping in Miss Lillian's a-" "AAAAAAAAHHHHHHH" Felix was cut off by a little girl's scream and the only other child here except for me is Amy.

Everyone present in the room immediately stopped whatever they were doing and ran towards the sound, Felix picked me up and started following them. In a matter of minutes we were in the back garden of the ruby palace and a horrifying scene welcomed us. Lily was punching the life out of another maid and Amy was standing behind her, her long wavy hair now cut above her shoulders and a cut on her right cheek.

"MISS LILLIAN," Felix gently put me down and ran to Lily, he held by her upper arms, restricting her from continuing to punch the maid, Lily's eyes were wide with rage, I ran to Amy and held her hands but she didn't even react, her eyes were wide as well but instead of rage, they were wide with shock. "Miss Lillian, please control yourself and tell us what happened," Felix tried to calm Lily down, still not letting her go, "This woman dared to try to assassinate the Princess, it's a good thing that Her Highness moved at the last moment resulting in only her hair and cheek being cut," Lily explained, calmer than before, I looked at Claude and saw his eyes wide with rage visible on his face, "Take this imbecile to the dungeon and call the royal healer," he ordered one of the guards that were present here. By now I think every maid and guard who heard the scream had arrived. The guard bowed his head and quickly picked up the bruised and bloody maid and scurried away along with all the other guards and maids as they didn't want to face the wrath of the emperor.

After everyone left, Lily turned around towards Amy and hugged her making Amy relax a bit at Lily's touch, "Your Highness must have been so scared, I'm sorry I couldn't protect you properly," Lily cried, "But Lily, you took a hit for me," Amy said, now out of her shocked state, "But Your Highness was injured more than me," Lily argued, Amy was about to say something but was interrupted by the royal healer coming into the scene. Lily moved away to give the royal healer space to work. He put his hand over Amy's cheek and light emitted from his hand, a few seconds later, he removed his hand, revealing a perfectly healed cheek. He bowed his head and excused himself. "Fix Ambrosine's hair," Claude ordered Lily and Lily just nodded and picked Amy up, walking back into the ruby palace with me in tow.
