~The day before the debutante aka their birthday~

~Ambrosine's POV~

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY PRINCESSES!," all the maids and guards cheered, clapping their hands and some of them even whistled. "Our little princesses have already turned fourteen," Ces sighed out, " Ah I'm so emotional," Hannah said while both of them handed their presents to us.

"Go on, open it," Lily ushered, curiosity and excitement written all over her face. Athy and I opened all of our presents and they were all so fucking great. Athy got mostly accessories and a plushie that looks like Raven while I got a few accessories and a plushie that looked like Trophy,which said creature was currently playing with, but the gifts that stood out the most were the bow and arrow from Lily and the sword from Felix.

I ran my fingers over the weapons and it felt so good, I could tell that they were made with high quality materials. The sword had a wavy blade, it had a green hue near the hilt and the tip. I picked it up and it had a balanced weight, not too light but not too heavy.

Felix leaned into my ear, "This might be a bit too gruesome to say but this is a snake sword, it has a poisoned blade that is used by assasins to deal a silent and killing blow. The top part of the handle has space to pour the poison that is spread on the blade by a mechanism inside snake's head.," he whispered before moving away.

I gave him a smirk and a thumb's up before focusing back on the gifts. I put the sword down and picked up the bow and arrow. They were very pretty but equally as useful, it was light as well. The color was mainly white but there were light gold colors in certain areas. In short, it looked like something an angel would use.

"I had seen you staring at the Imperial archers whenever you'd cross paths with any of them and you seemed particularly interested in their weapons, so I got one for you, I hope you like it," Lily spoke up, exposing me for gaping at weapons whenever I saw one but nonetheless, I smiled and hugged her and Felix before focusing back on the gifts.
