CHAPTER ONE

Ginagap ng kasintahan ko ang kamay ko saka iyon hinalikan. I smiled because of his sweet gestures. "Do we really need to go back at the Philippines, hmm?"

"Oo eh, kailangan." Ngumiti ako sakanya. "Kinukulit ako nila papa at mama na umuwi sa bahay, you know, they missed me..." Tumatawang sabi ko.

"Okay." Nakita kong dumaan ang lungkot at takot sa mga mata niya. "P-paano kung makikita mo siya..."

I gave him a peck kiss on his lips. "Gio, you know that I love you, right?"

He smiled, but it doesn't reach his eyes. "Vida... Natatakot ako..." Ginagap ko ang mga kamay niya. "Baka kapag nakita mo siya..."

"Gio... Please! He's just my bestfriend, crush back then and I'd moved on now. So please!"

He sighed. "Okay." Then he hugged me. "Incase you still have a feelings for him, you need to tell me."

"Gio..."

"It's just incase, Vida. Incase."

"Okay, let's go now." Tumango siya at hinila ko siya papasok airplane. It's time for us to go home.

Gio Dy is my boyfriend for one year and a half months. He became my friend in London.

Nakilala ko siya sa paaralan na pinasukan ko. It was my first day from school and he approached me, we met each other, he introduced his name and he's handsome, friendly, kind, and he's also learning Music, like me.

We became close friends, and I told him everything about me, about the past between me and my bestfriend and he understands me.

Kapag umiiyak ako minsan, nandoon siya sa tabi ko para pasayahin ako, para alagaan ako, and siya iyong tao na gugustuhin niyong makasama.

Then after our graduation, he confessed his feelings for me, he did court me for three months, and that's when I realized that I need to give myself a chance.

So I answered him 'yes' and I'm happy that we finally enjoyed each other's company. Inaalagaan niya ako, never siyang nagcheat sa akin kahit na may nagkakagusto sakanya, and I'm happy.

"Vida..."

"Hmn?" Nagising ako mula sa paggugunamgunam nang narinig ko na binanggit ni Gio iyong pangalan ko.

"Are you okay? Nakatulala ka?"

"H-huh? Ahh-- oo kasi iniisip ko lang naman iyong paano tayo nagkakilala eh."

"Oh. Okay. You can sleep now, gigisingin kita kapag nakarating na tayo sa Pilipinas."

"Okay. Sleep ka rin."

"Sure. Love you." He smiled at me.

"Love you too." He then kissed my lips, it was a peck. "Sleep now, you need to rest." Tumango ako saka humilig sa balikat niya at pumikit.

Nang makarating na kami ng Pilipinas ay ang iba ay napatigil sa paglalakad nang may nakakakilala sa amin.

Hindi ako nagkakamali. May nakakakilala parin sa amin kahit na nakafacemask kami. Gio and I were famous musicians and singers. Kaya siyempre nakilala kami.

"So it's true, that you're went home here in our country..." Ani ng isang reporter. "Do you guys really are boyfriends and girlfriends?"

Nagkatinginan kami ni Gio saka ko siya nginingitian and he also smiled. "Yes. We are."

"What's your mother and father's reaction?"

I laughed. "Oh. They're shocked but they supported me anyway..." Except my mama whose sulky, hindi niya raw gusto si Gio para sa akin. But I knew my mama would love him, because he's kind and respectful.
