This fact is a bit more well known among stans bit Em didn't think Kendrick was actually a good rapper. He assumed he had people ghost writing for him. In order to test this, Em gave Kendrick the chance to feature on the song 'Love Game' under one condition:
Kendrick had to sit in the room by himself while Ems engineeer recorded him.
Em did this because he wanted to see whether or not he actually wrote his own verses. Kendrick proved himself and Em has been a huge supporter of his every since.
