My eyes has gone dry
Tears rolled up and hidden
My heart has become a barren soil
Running away from thirsty waters
I don't like getting drenched anymore
As there is nostalgia in these pouring showers
My infinite walks in the rain
Kisses under the trees
My cold lips savouring the taste of the icecream
All reminding me about you
Being dry and dusted makes me calm now
Like a cactus flower in the middle of a desert
Living, breathing, calm in the storm
Blooming, adding some colour in the rusty eyes
Having a little acknowledgement for every passer-by
I guess I have fallen out of love with rains
So going away from it as far as I can
And then secretly hoping to have an acquaintance
No wonder it's raining so much this year

PoetryThese are some of my poetries. I wrote these poems during some very tough times in my life. All I can say is that writing saved me!
