"What a night," Spencer let out a long sigh. He sat on the front porch steps of the Baker house. "What a night indeed. One thing we can say for sure," Olivia extended her hand when Spencer interlaced his fingers in hers. "And what is that?". Olivia grinned from ear to ear looking down at her lap where their hands were intertwined. With her free hand, she wrapped it around his arm, resting her head on his shoulder. "That we survived Thanksgiving. Something the both of us were very nervous about last night. A soft smile fell on his lips, kissing the top of her head. "It wasn't so bad after all. One would say, it was a great night,". Olivia looked up when she narrowed her gaze. "It was good, but you may be pushing it with it being great. Unless..." Olivia trailed.

Her mouth slightly parted as a smile formed on her lips. "Remember the pinky promise we made a few weeks back?" Spencer asked. Olivia slightly nodded, loving where this was headed. "I do. The one where you told me you were going to talk to Coop?". Spencer nodded. "That's the one. Well, what made tonight great was that Coop and I are cool again..." Spencer trailed the moment Olivia crashed into him. He was a little taken aback by her excitement but didn't mind nonetheless. Closing his eyes, he embraced her.

"Liv it ain't that big of a deal,". He softly laughed when she pulled away. Her hand fell down his arms, squeezing him. Meeting his gaze, it felt as if a weight had been lifted off her shoulders. She knew how much Coop meant to Spencer and was happy that the both of them made up. Olivia smiled disagreeing. "But it is. She is more than just your friend, Spence, she is family. You both missed each other these past couple of months and I'm just happy you both are back together. Besides, I really did miss the two of you together. Maybe now that you guys are friends again, maybe we can go on a double date?" Olivia asked. Spencer gently smiled. "Liv, we just got back to being friends, let us ease into this," Spencer rested his hands on his knees when he thought back to Coop's advice.

"She told me to stop overthinking and visit the schools that I'm interested in. I think she may be onto something. It's funny how my moms, Coop, and you all had the same advice. Maybe Toledo isn't my only option. Guess I should start listening to the three most important girls in my life,". Spencer turned to meet Olivia's gaze as she couldn't help but smile. "I think you should. You could learn a thing or two. And what better way to start than this weekend. Who knows maybe a trip to Atlanta is just what the both of us need to clear our heads, getaway for the weekend, and see what is out there,". Spencer agreed. "I can't wait. I heard their football team ain't half bad so I'm excited to see the facility,". Olivia wrapped her arm around his leaning in closer. "No, that too. But I was thinking about you and me, alone, in a brand new city experiencing what Bringston has to offer,". Spencer agreed. "Are you excited?".

With a twinkle in his eyes, he thought nothing sounded better than a weekend alone with Olivia. One of the many trips they had planned. Her lips hinted at a smile, while even her cheeks burned red under the porch light. "Excited is an understatement of how I'm feeling right now. That is all I've been thinking about tonight,". Olivia pulled her bottom lip in between her teeth as the bet she and Spencer placed flooded her mind. Knowing how much more difficult it was going to be being in a new environment surrounded by temptations. Lost in her thoughts Spencer called out her name again when Olivia slightly shook her head.

"Liv you good? It looked like you were gone for a minute?" Spencer grinned. Olivia met his gaze when she smiled. "Guess I got lost in my thoughts thinking about how...happy I am,". Slipping her arm around his she leaned her head on his shoulder, letting out a grateful sigh. "You know how we were going around the dinner table tonight telling our friends one thing we are thankful for?". Spencer nodded smiling thinking back to that exact moment. "I clearly remember you saying you were thankful for Layla making you tater tots,". Olivia exhaled in pure happiness thinking back to the tater tots. "You know I do love a good tater tot. But that is not where I was going with this...," Olivia trailed. Spencer now turned his attention towards Olivia waiting for her to continue.

"I couldn't say it then, but I wanted you to know how thankful I am of you, Spence. I don't know where I would be if you didn't come into my life when you did. You saved me, time and time again, and even after what we went through after the car accident...," Olivia trailed taking a deep breath in before exhaling. Spencer interlaced his hands in hers, softening his gaze. "Liv," his voice fell to an almost whisper. A tear fell down her cheek thinking of how much Spencer meant to her. Brushing the tear from her cheek, his thumbs gently rubbed her face. Placing her hands on his forearms, she gently squeezed him, as a smile fell on both of their lips. "I'm just grateful to have you in my life, Spence. I love you,". Her voice cracked with every word she spoke. Spencer nodded grinning from ear to ear, as his eyes watered.

A knot formed in his throat, as he was getting choked up, just gazing at his girlfriend, who now had tears streaming down her cheeks. "I know Liv. I'm thankful to have you in my life. Just as much as I saved you, you saved me. Even when you didn't know it, you saved me. You ain't gotta tell me, because I know. But it doesn't hurt to hear it. I love you too Liv," Spencer softly spoke as Olivia wrapped her arms around him, embracing him. Spencer pulled her in for a deeper embrace letting her cry in his arms. "Your the best thing that has ever happened to me. I don't know how I'll ever thank you,". "Me too Liv...me too. This is enough for me, Liv. Just you in my arms is all I need. I don't want anything else," Spencer closed his eyes.

Taking in this moment, the both of them embraced for a long while, before a grin fell on his lips breaking the silence. Their bodies vibrated by the soft laughter that came out of Spencer. Olivia pulled away as his contagious grin now spread across hers. "What's so funny?" she asked. "I was just thinking of Coop, and a conversation her, Jordan, and I had. And you may be right about Carrie, there's something definitely off with her. It's not my place to say but her vibe was different. Have you talked to Layla?" Spencer asked.

Olivia's grin fell when she shook her head. "Not yet, it's not like she's going to listen to me. All she talks about is Carrie this and Carrie that. I'm afraid she is going to get too attached to her, and Carrie is going to turn into the total opposite of what she expected. I'm just scared that Layla is going to get hurt,". A worried expression fell on her face when Spencer nudged her. "You should talk to her. You don't gotta say all of that. Just be there for her. Maybe even if it is from a distance,".

Olivia agreed letting out a sigh. "So what was so funny?" Olivia asked hoping to get her mind off of the uneasy feeling she had felt since meeting Carrie,". A grin fell across his lips thinking back to his story. "Coop and I were telling Jordan about how we don't eat just anyone's mac and cheese. If it's not from my mom's, we stay clear away from it,". Olivia scrunched her eyebrows in confusion. "Why not?". "Two words. Bubble guts," Spencer let out a soft laugh. Olivia was now more confused not knowing what he meant. "Bubble guts?" Olivia repeated.

"Yeah, you never heard of bubble guts?" Spencer now looked at her as if she was weird. Olivia shook her head. "No, but I'm intrigued. Tell me more,". A grin splashed across her face as she listened intently to Spencer telling Olivia the story of how he and Coop were in elementary and made the mistake of eating Mac and cheese at a potluck. Olivia laughed along with his story. Her stomach hurt from how hard she belly laughed thinking of eight-year-old Spencer and Coop having the bubble guts. "So the question is did you eat her mac and cheese?". Spencer scrunched his face as if Olivia had been crazy. "No, and thankfully we didn't. Jordan and I escaped before we were forced to take some. Coop on the other hand...legend says that she's still in the bathroom at Layla's,". Spencer laughed while Olivia followed. The rest of the night they spent talking about their plans for their upcoming weekend at Bringston.

Before they knew it, the week had flown by. In a blink of an eye, they would be across the country, exiting the taxi cab, and breathing in the southern Georgia air. "Welcome to Bringston!" Simone cheered. She had felt more alive than she had in the last year. For a minute everyone had been surprised to see Simone so happy. Like they've never seen her like this before as a grin spread across her face. Spencer, Olivia, and Jordan all looked at each other knowing they were in for one hell of a ride. Just catching a glimpse of the university campus, Spencer could already tell he was going to love it. Taking it all in he heard Olivia's voice in the distance calling his name. Extending her hand, she smiled that heavenly smile back at him. "You coming?". Spencer grinned from ear to ear meeting her gaze. "Wouldn't miss it for the world,".
