I woke up the next morning to a knock on my bedroom door

"Come in" I said not feeling Kai next to me

"Where Kai?" I asked seeing Jackie come in the room

"He woke up and saw you were still sleep so he came to me"

"I'm sorry for sleeping so long and leaving him up with you"

"Stop apologizing. You cried a lot yesterday along with him so ofc you're gonna be tired from all that and it's just 8 in the morning"

"Thank you"

"Ofc. I have some biscuits in the oven"

"Okay lemme get myself ready and I'll be down there" I said and she nodded and walked out

Seeing it was 8:32 I took a quick shower going downstairs seeing Kai watching tv

"Morning baby" I said picking him up kissing his cheek

"You still hurting a little?" I asked and he nodded laying his head on my shoulder

"I'm sorry" I said "we're gonna find out what it is"

"Cmon let's go eat" I said taking him into the kitchen sitting him down

"Here" Jackie said handing me a plate

"Thank you" I said putting it in front of Kai and she handed me another one

"Where my daddy at?" I asked

"He's sleeping in. You know how he be when he first get off the road"

"Tell me something new" I laughed as she fixed his plate putting it in the microwave

"He been complaining?" I asked

"A little he was sweating so I took his shirt off"

"That's how it was yesterday"

We finished eating and I gave him a bath and I got him dressed and I didn't want him to swear a lot so I put him on a tank top and a pair of pants and some forces

"Yaal ready?" Jackie knocked on the door walking in

"Yep" I said making sure I had everything again "am I driving?"

"No I got it" she said

"Okay imma go say bye" I said "cmon Kai let's go say bye to papa"

He ran to my daddy room and jumped on the bed as my dad was watching tv

"We just came to say goodbye" I said as he picked Kai up

"Okay I gotta handle some stuff today with Neko so keep me updated and let me know wassup" he said and I nodded

"You got it big boy" he said lifting Kai in the air making him squeal

"Alright see you later" I said hugging him before walking downstairs putting Kai in the car seeing Jackie come out soon after
