—— Walking up five years later..!

As soon as Lisa came out of the training room, she received a phone call from Taehyung. The voice from the other end of the phone was as deep and pleasant as usual.

"You have a competition tomorrow. Are you nervous?" Taehyung was filled with happiness as she laughed and talked to him. "Not nervous. When the competition is over, remember to treat me for a meal."

Taehyung seemed to wear some helpless smile; he had always been aloof but his smile contained a kind of doting. "Rest assured, I won't neglect you." He paused for a moment and then added in a straight tone. "Lisa, let's have a good talk when the competition is over."

The sudden change in his tone made Lisa nervous, but she pretended to be natural as she said, "Why? What do you want to talk to me about?"

"Wait until your competition is over."

Lisa made a sound of acknowledgment. She had already walked to the dormitory door. From afar, she saw a person standing downstairs. She recognized Chaeyoung and rushed Taehyung. "Chaeyoung has come to see me. I'll hang up first."

After a moment of silence, he replied. "Okay, good luck with your competition tomorrow."
Chaeyoung came up to her. Lisa hung up the phone call and greeted her with a smile.

Chaeyoung held a cat-like flannel doll and handed it to her as she walked over. "This lucky doll is for you, remember to hold it in your arm while sleeping tonight and the competition tomorrow will be a success."

Taking it over, Lisa deliberately looked at the puppet before replying, "It doesn't look very good, but I will reluctantly accept it."

"I think you can do it, you still have a mood to joke. I won't worry about your competition tomorrow." Chaeyoung snorted. "En, then I won't accompany you tomorrow."

Lisa immediately replied, "No, no, you still have to accompany me. I have the confidence only when you support me." She slapped her mouth and added. "My mouth is full of nonsense. This cat is cute and adorable." Covering her mouth, Chaeyoung burst into laughter.

Chaeyoung and Lisa were very good friends, the kind of relationship that wouldn't blush even if they made some excessive jokes. Chaeyoung wasn't only her good friend but also her stepsister, but only two months older than her. In fact, at first Lisa didn't like her because she hated her (Chaeyoung's) mother, Park Ara, who was the third party in her parents' marriage. Her father and mother divorced because of her, and her mother was also hurt by the woman's intervention. Later, her depression had dragged her body down, and she died a few years after divorcing her father.

After her parents divorced, her sister followed her mother, and she who was still in junior middle school at that time was assigned to her father. Her father married soon after, and Chaeyoung was the daughter of Park Ara and her ex-husband.

At first, she looked at Chaeyoung in disgust, the same way she looked at Park Ara. Later, seeing Chaeyoung being beaten by her own mother, she realized that the girl was also a victim of this marriage, and they both were equally disgusted with this marriage. So, the both of them who were in the same boat soon became very good friends.

Over the years, they supported and encouraged each other in a family that didn't look like home. In addition, both of them learned music from an early age, so they had a lot of common topics. What's more, they were even admitted to the same school of music.

Since they had the same hobbies and were a family, she and Chaeyoung would always have endless topics to talk about. She was also the closest person to her besides her mother and elder sister.
