chapter 18

Skylar's pov

"are you ready" he said coming out of the shower. "yeah" I answered. He went to our walk—in closet. I went downstairs to grab something to eat. I grabbed an apple from the basket and sat in the stool. "sky where are you" I heard Chris yell. "here" I yelled back.

He came jogging downstairs with a.... panicked look? "where were you. I thought something happened." he said with a concerned looked. "why would something happen" I questioned no clue of what is going on. "um...king's brother" he said giving me a I told you look. "oh" I whispered. I totally forgot about it. "I'm sorry I scared you" I mumbled looking down at my feet. "its fine just don't do it again" he said wrapping his arms around me.

"you ready to go???" he asked. I nodded my head. He dragged me to the front door and led me to the forest. "um...Chris where are we going" I questioned. Is he going to kill me? "relax...I'm going to the barn it's through the forest" he chuckled. The walk was calming. I could here the sound of birds chirping. The leaves of trees dancing with the wind. It was just classical music.

"who new the big bad mafia boy has a barn" I teased. "well who said I can't" he said with a chuckle. "who now's about this" I asked. "um people who are close to me" He replied. "who knew a mafia bastard will have a soft side" I teased a little more. "watch who you call bastard and yes my soft side is for you only" he said making kissy faces. "oh lord hold your horses boy I only adore you" I sassed. A look of hurt wet through his face as he heard me say it. I looked the other way. I knew I hurt him.

"I am sorry Chris I didn't meet to hurt your feelings" I said grabbing his face in my hands. He looked at me with a sad look. He kept staring a t me. All I did was kept apologizing and kiss him all over his face. Not even a second later he burst out laughing. "I'm sorry love but it is so hilarious" he said laughing. He was holding his stomach, that's how hard he was laughing.

I saw a dirty road that lead to the I guess the barn. "that's the office is in the right and the stalls are on the left. Megan is the one who is in charge and she is in the office. I have my house right around here." He gave me a quick summary as he led me to his horse. He is a beauty. "wow Chris is this yours" I asked. "yeah he is...his name is eclipse" he answered. "wow can I ride him" I asked with hopeful eyes. "love do you even now how to ride a horse" he asked well teased.

"I have been riding horse since I was two years old and I learned when I was four" I explained. "then let's see what you can do" I said as he straddled him. "hmm we shall see" he led the horse to a trail. He helped me to get on the horse and led him to the beginning of the trail. "princess you could do four laps ok" he asked. I nodded smiling like an idiot. It has been so long since I have been on a horse.

As soon as I started my ride the four laps were over. I made my way to down but Chris stooped me. "where do you think you are going "he questioned. "I'm getting off" I replied. "no you're not" he said as he got next to me. "um what are you doing "I asked confused. "we are going for a ride duh!" he replied. He went to a different trial.

I had fun in the trial. We spent hours riding eclipse. "did you have fun" he asked as we laid there. "yeah I did. Thank you" I said kissing his lips. "of course" he said as he kissed my neck. "so, what do you want to do for the rest of the day" Chris whispered. "can we stay in' I asked with hope in my eyes. "I guess so" he replied as he went to spoon me.

"if you want, we could go to the swimming pool" he said. "wait you guys have one here!!" why did he tell me.

"yeah we do"

"why didn't you tell me" I said as I turned to slap him in the chest but of course Chris being Chris he grabbed my hand before I could.

"princess there is no need for violence" he said as he kissed the knuckles. I pouted.

"we could go but I'm feeling sleepy and I planned to take you out for shopping" he explains.

"yeah sure but I want to see that pool as soon as possible'

"whatever you say my queen" he said as he kissed my lips.

He continued kissing down to my neck. He sucked on it bitting and soothing it afterwards. I was a moaning mess. His actions went on for a whole lot long and when I was going to say something Chris stopped. IWars panting my breathing was rough.

"wow princes if I had known that I would have one it a long time ago" he said amused.

"what did you do to my neck" I asked as I ribbed the area.

"oh, nothing much just marked what is mine" he shrugged.

"CHRISTOPHERE LOUIS KNIGHT YOU BETTER NIT HAVE GAVE ME DAMN HICKY" I shouted at him. I rushed to the nearest mirror to see two hickey in both side of my neck and both at top. Is he that hungry?

"heyy its nothing calm down. I had to mark you so..." I cut him off. "SO WHAT??"

"so that every male knows you are mine. And no one touch what's mine" he growled.

I huffed and went to my side of the bed and tried to sleep.

"Bella don't do that talk to me" he said and he reached to spoon me.

"don't...if you don't want an angry girl friend to deal with stop" he knew I wasn't kidding when he heard my tone.

He mumbled a quick fine before turning over to his side. I sighed as I closed my eye welcoming the darkness
