Chapter 2

Ae-ri pov*

I walk to the living room to see the boys sitting there in the couch with their eyes widen.

Ae-ri: d-did you tell them-

Dad: honey don't be mad we-

Ae-ri: did you tell them

I said sternly.

I see my parents look down and nod.

I sigh and I look back at the boys.

Mom: baby we didn't wanna see you miserable anymore.

Ae-ri: you promised me you wouldn't tell them

Dad: you had nightmares about them getting hurt! WE CANT JUST SIT AROUND AND SEE YOU DESTROY YOURSELF.

Ae-ri: I DO THIS SO THEY DONT GET HURT. SO I DONT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT MY LITTLE BROTHER GETTING HUR-

I stop arguing when I lightly hear footsteps on the roof. I raise my hand to tell everyone to be quiet.
I whisper

Ae-ri: go to the steps now

I turn to jimin who's in front of me and put my hand on his cheek

Ae-ri: I need you to take jaemin make him stay in the bathroom.

He nods and takes off with jaemin.

I turn to my parents and the boys.

Ae-ri: go to the stairs it's safer the here in the open

They nod and take off

I call my right hand jihoon and tell him to bring in some extra men. I turn off the tv to hear better and put my hand on my gun and crouch next to kitchen island table.

CRASH

The window to the backyard breaks and footsteps come in.
Someone starts whistling "ring around a Rosie."

Hyung-woo: come on Ryoto we know your in here. We saw you come in.

Ae-ri: if you wanna try and kill me I suggest you try harder

He chuckles.

Hyung-woo: why don't you stop being a pussy. It's gonna give you a bad reputation.

I scoff and stand up where he can clearly see me. I look to see where he is and his back is facing me. I point my gun at him. I feel eyes on my back it's the boys and my parents

Ae-ri: surprise bitch

His goons point their guns at me.

Hyung-woo: ah-ah I want this fight fair and square. If she kills me shoot her.

I smirk at him and chuckle

Ae-ri: I'd like to see your goons try

I walk in front of him and I put my gun in my holster and raise my hands up.

He swings at me but I dodge it and kick him in the no no square. He falls to his knees groaning and I take the advantage and grab his head and knee his nose. He starts bleeding heavily. One of his goons tackle me against the dinner table which is made of glass, breaking it in the process. I groan and get up.

Ae-ri: ah you son of a bitch let's stop playing games alright.

I smirk. Goon #1 tries to shoot his gun but I roundhouse him in the face and shoot him with my gun that thank god has a silencer. Goon # 2 punches me in the face and tries to punch me again but I catch his fist and twist it making him drop his gun and twist it harder behind his back.

I see some cuff in his back pocket so I use those and cuff him. He tries to move so I knock him out with the butt of my gun.

I turn to hyung- woo and see him try to escape through the backyard but I grab him and kick him making him fall backwards to the glass window, breaking it. I get on top of him and punch him

Ae-ri: I'm *punch* just *punch* trying *punch* to get *punch* a break

I punch him one more time knocking him out. I check his pulse and feel nothing. I grab the other body of goon #1 and put it outside while I put goon #2 in the closet. I get up panting. And walk towards the kitchen getting a water bottle from the fridge.

Ae-ri: you can come out now

I hear footsteps and mom gasp.
I feel her walk towards me and grab my chin inspecting my injuries

Ae-ri: yah ma I'm fine

Mom: you don't look fine-

Jaemin: MAMA

I look to the side and see jaemin running to me. I crouch down. And pick him up throwing him over my shoulder giggling.

Ae-ri: ah my baby boy

I carry him and put him on my hip .

Ae-ri: what did you do today with uncles and grandma and grandpa.

Jaemin: I played with them

Ae-ri: did you have fun?

He nods and smiles.

Jaemin: mhm

I put him down and he runs to my dads who picks him up and takes him to the kitchen where my mom is.

I sigh and look at the boys who look kinda nervous and scared. I bow to them which makes them widen their eyes.

Ae-ri: hello nice to meet you I'm Park Ae-ri.

I see the boys come up to me one by one introducing themselves. Except jimin. Who stands there just looking at me. Tears fill up my eyes.

Ae-ri: you've grown so much

I sadly smile to him. He walks towards me and pulls me in a hug. I break down

Ae-ri: oh god I missed you so much. I'm so sorry I-I couldn't be there for your first everything-

Jimin: you shouldn't be sorry for anything. You were there just not physically.

We pull away from the hug and I see tears in his eyes falling down his cheeks. I chuckle at how he's changed so much but his face not so much
