He walked through the crowded hallway in the early morning. His feet dragging against the dirty tiles with his grip loose on the straps of his backpack with one hand, while the other brushed his fingers through his hair, smoothing it down.

He cursed windy days like these. His control to tame his hair was clearly non existent. And it embarrassingly shows at the end of the day. He somehow always ends up having a lions mane. If a certain someone didn't love his hair so much, he would've considered shaving his head a long time ago.

Useless chatter echoed all around by students he was either acquainted with or had no care for with his head ducked down, watching his worn out sneakers naturally walking towards his locker. And, as he lifted up his gaze, a sigh escaped his plumped lips as he opened his locker door.

Mondays, he hated them. Mondays meant school, and school was equal to a fiery pit of hell.

Education, who needs it?

Donny flickered his eyes to the side and scoffed under his breath with an eye roll from the sight of a group of football jocks shoving each other around while laughing stupidly along with cheerleaders giggling a little too loudly for his liking.

Right, idiots do.

As he was sliding off his jacket and shoving the jean like material into his locker, he grumbled lowly in annoyance, already dreading the day. He was mentally blaming himself for feeling so tired. For someone as "smart" as him, his decision in binge watching his favorite TV series all night told him otherwise.

Donny was sincerely considering in ditching school, till he felt a pair of soft, gentle hands covering his eye sight paired with his favorite fresh scent and a heart stopping giggle.

"Guess who?" Donny felt his body automatically shiver by the warm breath tickling his ear and felt a smile creep in, loving the flutter in his chest. He feigned a look of confusion and hummed,

"Hmmm, considering the small size of these hands..." A gasp cut him off. Hands were removed which had Donny chuckling and closing his locker door after taking out a book and shoving it into his bag. And, after sliding his arm through the strap of the bag, he turned around to be face to face with his best friend. More like her cute pout.

"My hands are not that small!" the younger one whined, arms crossed in front of him in a cute manner. Donny laughed, leaning back against the cold steel,

"Sure, Belle... sure.." He then opened his arms, "Now, are you going to hug me now or later?" Donny teased. Belle playfully rolled her eyes and remained rooted to the floor with the same cute pout.

"Maybe never," she challenged. Lucky for him, Donny loved a challenge. The taller one chuckled while extending both his hands forward and placing it on Belle's hips. With a slight squeeze, Donny gently pulled her closer till the small frame was flushed against his body.

"Come on.. you know you love my hugs. You've told me yourself." Donny could see the corners of Belle's pretty pink lips flinching, trying to fight back a smile. The taller one grinned sheepishly and lifted his hands to uncross the younger one arms. He then brought Belle's arms up to lock around his neck before letting go and placing his hands back onto slender hips.

"You know you want to Belinda.."

And seeing the cat like eyes suddenly meet his own with a bright glint, Donny smiled in victory. It was the younger ones favorite endearment. Belle laughed lightly with an eye roll, tightening her hold around Donny's neck. The taller one could feel her fingers twirling the hair on the back of his neck, a habit Belle had.

"No fair, you know I'm weak when you use that name on me." She mumbled out, leaning forward and hiding her face in Donny's neck. Donny laughed and pulled her closer, loving the way the smaller one melted against him.

A perfect fit.

"How was your weekend?" Donny asked pulling back slightly only to stare at the beauty, his tone no longer playful but soft. Always soft for this woman in front of him. And as he watched Belle gnaw on her bottom lip, trying to remember her weekend, Donny took the chance to admire every single detail of the girls face.

Belle was breathtakingly beautiful. She had long, black hair that flowed naturally down her back while the front part of her hair was shorter. It framed her face gently, showing off her jawline. Her cheeks may have lost a bit of fat as time passed but it still stayed soft and fluffy. Belle always hated her cheeks but Donny was obsessed with them. He would kiss and pinch it every chance he got. And her black eyes were sharp and feline shaped. They were the sexiest eyes Donny has ever seen. From her cute and pretty nose, to her pretty lips, Donny never believed in perfection till he laid eyes on this girl.

Compared to him, Donny was more on the tall, skinny, lanky side whereas Belle was shorter with soft curves... okay to get to the point, she was extremely sexy in Donny's eyes. A true beauty.

It's a shame she was taken.

Belle shoulders lifted up and down, fingers reaching up to comb through his hair,

"Broke up with Miah."

Nevermind.

"Oh?" He couldn't stop the grin from widening, and surprisingly Belle mirrored that grin. She leaned up on her tip toes and booped their noses together with a giggle.

"Yup!" She replied before resting her cheek onto Donny's chest. Donny smiled then looked over to the side, only to see the said ex sending daggers their way. His glare should've sent a wave of fear to flow through his but instead it had him sticking out his tongue catching him by surprise. He chuckled before sliding his hands up Belle's soft curves to her hands that were still around his neck. He took the younger ones hands down and squeezed them.

"Shall we go?"

Belle smiled before letting go of the taller ones hands to wrap her arm around his waist. Donny then draped his arm over Jennie's shoulder and felt a goofy grin grow the moment Belle reached up towards the hand on her shoulder with his free hand to intertwine their fingers.
