'Sandy, were gonna be late!" I shout up the stairs
"Coming Liza, I'd lost my tie, got it now though." She replied
Sandy came running down the stairs, clearly out of breath.
"Right, I'm here, lets go!" And we ran all the way to school, who wants to be late on their first day?
"So by increasing the value of y and decreasing the value of x..." Miss Hedgegrove ranted on. Shes nice and all but maths just couldn't be more boring.
Me and Sandy just gave each other the look, the look that means ' let's get out of here'.
"Miss, can we go see our PSO, it's our first day and we don't have our full time tables yet and have no idea what we've got next, please may we be excused for a few secs?" We said politely.
"Of course you can loves, see you soon, and make sure your back in time to collect the homework." She winked at us, smiling as she did so.
"Thank you miss!" We got out of our chairs and made our way down to the PSO room.
"Sandy?" I asked, "do you think we'll fit in here?"
"I think we'll fit in just fine!" She replied, we nudged each other,
