~No Spell Can Heal~

You smiled widely, as you watched the handsome magician cast a spell on a lady. "And she shall float on mid-air!" He announced, grinning.

The lady was floating on mid-air!

You clapped your hands excitedly and laughed. You loved to visit Arthur Kirkland's Magical House of Wonders. All the magic made you happy and excited.

You had always thought that magic was real and it could solve anything. That was your belief.

Like with your deceased parents. Your eyes lit up at that idea you just made. Could he restore your parents with his magic? You bet he could.

After the service, you saw Arthur waving goodbye at all of the audience that visited -- including you.

You swallowed hard and walked up to your idol. He noticed you and smiled gentlemanly. "Why, hello, little one. What can I do for you? Oh, and where are your parents?" He questioned.

"My parents are gone. Could you...maybe, bring them back for me?" You smiled up at him in hope.

Arthur's eyes widen. "Did they leave you here? We'll go find them!" He said.

You smiled widely and hugged his leg (since you were that tiny). "Thank you, Mr. Arshur!" You piped up, your voice just too cute for the British magician.

He chuckled and brought you up to him, carrying you with him. "Let us find your parents, yeah?" He looked at you, smiling softly.

"Yes, sir!"

You two searched all around the tent and its grounds. But, your parents weren't found. Arthur frowned, baffled. "Wherever are your parents? No parent could leave their child here like that," he murmured.

You looked up at the blonde man. "I don't know either, Mr. Arshur," You replied.

He glanced at you and sighed. He couldn't believe that your parents could just leave you like that. You were a skinny child that looked like you haven't eaten something in months. Your stomach grumbled and you gripped it hard, trying to ease it.

Arthur noticed you and he looked at you in worry. "Are you hungry, poppet?" He asked. You stayed silent but nodded ever so slightly.

The blonde smiled and walked over to a small shop that sold a few hotdogs. "Here, what would you like?" He scanmed the food, wondering if they were healthy or poisoned. He didn't know a single thing about children and raising them. All he knew was magic and that was that.

You looked at through all kinds of hotdogs and pointed at the (favourite_hotdog). "I would like that one, please," you spoke lightly.

Arthur was certainly surprised at your excellent manners. Did your parents teach you all of that? If so, then why did they leave you alone in his tent? And why did you look like you haven't eaten in months? He didn't get it at all.

The man working that shop nodded and fixed up your order, handing it to you. Arthur gave the man a stern look. "Did you make sure that it is not poisoned?" He demanded.

The man looked shocked and nodded, afraid of the magician's look. "Y-yes, milord," he stammered.

Arthur looked at you and smiled, telling you it's okay to eat. You smiled back and ate the hotdog, savouring the flavour. "Thank you for the hotdog, mister!" You thanked the man.

The blonde magician walked away from the small shop and decided to search more for your parents.

"Say, Mr. Arshur?" You spoke.
