Princess~ part 2

"The waters not that cold, Nene."

Yashiro dipped her toe into the pool and felt a shiver go up her spine. Aoi looked amused, whilst sitting at the edge. 

"What do you mean? Its freez-" She fell face first into the pool. Ryuu stood at the edge of the pool. Putting on a playfully sorrowful look.

Nene plunged herself up, gasping for air, sulking, the other two burst of laughing.

"RYUU!!" Nene screamed, tying her hair into a near bun. She turned back to look at the boy, who suddenly went red in the face.

Nene swam to edge where the boy was standing. She suddenly grabbed his ankles and pulled him into the water too, almost landing straight ontop of her. Surprised, Aoi fell into the pool to, she hated the cold water and instantly regretted teasing Yashiro.

"My hair!" Aoi was now sulking. Nene laughed and put on a puppy face, splashing more water on Aoi. Ryuu joined in and they were engrossed in a splash battle.  

Listening to the commotion near the shallow end of the pool, Kou and Akane looked bewildered. They looked at each other and smirked in a mischievous way. 

"Should we?" They asked eachother.

Nene hadn't said much about Hanako to Kou at all over the last 2 days. In fact, she was too mad at him to even bother looking at him as he trailed her around the school.

She listened to Aoi lecturing Ryuu about wetting her hair and didn't even realize that 2 pair of hands had wrapped around her ankles under the water. 

One second she was about water smiling, the next was a blur of water and bubbles. the hands let go of her but she kept sinking lower. She felt her feet touch the bottom of the pool, no longer able to hold her breath. She kicked off the floor and swam up but a small wave of water plunged her into deep end.

She couldn't exactly swim, she barely passed the swimming lessons they gave during the first year.

She reached her hand out, knowing she couldn't hold onto anything. She gasped for air, which wasn't there. She felt close to fainting but she was held from under her arms by a pair of strong hands. They swam her to the top and guided her to the edge.

"Did you guys plunge Nene under?" Ryuu asked. 

"Heck yea." Akane said. They laughed a bit but it was cut off by a deadly silence. 

They 4 of them waited for Yashiro to appear. They anticipated every second and they all felt a sort of panic build up in them. 

No-one said anything. No-one moved either. 

"Nene! I can't swim very deep! Someone get her! She cant swim! I swear if shes hurt!" Aoi snapped.

Ryuu took action. "Get out of the way!" He dived into the pool. Searching around. He looked frantically, knowing every second was at stake. He may be no life guard but it didn't take an idiot to know that. 

He spotted a blue and yellow costume near the deep end of the pool and swam as fast as he could towards it he caught sight of their hair and knew immediately that it was Nene.  He reached her and wrapped his hands under her arms, he swam up and pulled pulled Yashiro to the top. He and her both gasped as they finally got out of the water. He guided her to the side and she took it with both hands. 

Her body was shaking and hands were pale, he expected as much. The other 3 swam towards her and helped her out of the pool.

NENE'S POV:

I had, never in my life felt so scared. My hands were shaking as I took the towel Aoi had given to me.

In all honesty, I wasn't mad or upset. I felt relieved when Ryuu held me in his hands. His soft touch, gentle eyes. How could Hanako hate him so much.

I sat on the bench away from the pool.  The boys had gone back to swimming, although they begged to stay and comfort me, I refused.

"Hey, are you okay?" I looked to my right as Ryuu handed me a bottle of lemonade. He sat besides me and opened the bottle lid for me, handing me my drink afterwards.

"I'm okay ," I took a sip and sat in an awkward silence, "thank you, I guess."

The boy turned to look at me, wearing a smile so pure I couldn't resist smiling back.

"Your so beautiful.."

I sat there, dumb-faced.

Did he just call me beautiful?

Hanako never called me that?

Why am I thinking of that idiotic ghost.

"Thanks, No-ones ever said that. Probably cause of my daikon feet." I pouted.

The boy smiled and chuckled a little.
"I think all of you is beautiful..I could stare at you for days.."

There was a strange tension between us. I found myself leaning forwards, him doing the same. Our eyes shut, It felt like something in those romance movies I watched.

Our lips touched and he ran a hand through my hair as I wrapped my hands around his neck. His lips tasted like cherries, something I had been imagining to happen my whole life.

It felt to good to be true. Did I really find the one I truly loved.

We parted, breathless but the sparkle in our eyes remained.

He tucked a strand of hair behind my ear and stared at me.

"I'm honestly happy I got the chance to meet you again. Promise me you won't leave again."

AUTHORS NOTE:

This was really hard to write but I kinda enjoyed it. Sorry if it not long or like the other chapters, im just trying to get to the main chapters as quick as I can! Ill proof read this later but thanks if you have come this far. Ilysm xo
