Setting: Lunchtime at Canlas' Residence

Kuya L: Ma...Pa... we're here na.

J: Koy, upo ka muna.

Kokoy sat down, looked around and asked himself "Ano bang ginagawa ko dito? Eto ba manifestation na Most Friendly ako? Never ko nga nakakwentuhan tong si Elijah Canlas sa school tapos ngayon andito ako sa bahay nila?"

J: Huy! Koy!

K: Ay sorry.

J: Ma, pa, here's Ronald. Classmate ko. Yung 5th honor namin saka basketball captain.

Mama Lyn: Hello iho.

Papa Melong: Magaling ka iho ah. Mahirap pagsabayin ang sports at acads.

K: Ah opo mapilit lang tlga nanay ko. Pero mas magaling po si Jelo. Student Gov president, Editor in chief ng school paper namin saka swimmer pa.

Mama L: Eh sanay naman na yang mga yang magkakaatid.

J: I think we should eat na?

Kuya L: Oo nga ma, pa. JM baba ka na dyan. Let's eat na.

It's an awkward feeling for Kokoy. "Kaya pala ganito si Jelo." He said to himself.

Koy: Wow. Ang sasarap ng handa ah. Thanks Jelo for inviting me ha. Pero tita, bakit dipo kayo umattend?

Mama L: Medyo di kasi maganda pakiramdam ko iho eh.

Jelo: Saka...2nd lang ako. Nahhiya ka sa sasabihin ng ibang parents kasi lagi mo kong binibida.

Papa Melong: Jelo?

Jelo: Sorry....

Kuya L: So let's eat!

They ate silently... Kokoy seemed to regret going there... But he then understand the pressure that's eating up Jelo.

Kokoy: Ahm..tita tito pwede ko din ba isama si Jelo samin?

Mama L: Ah sya tanungin mo kung sasama yan.

J: Oo kuya. Wala naman ng gagawin diba? Di naman tayo lalabas.

Papa Melong: Ah hindi. May meeting ako eh. Sa ibang araw nalang.

J: Yun. Sige wait magbibhis lang ako.

K: Wag na. Andaya mo. Ako nga nakauniform ngayon eh.

J: Ah..okay sige. Tara na.

K: Agad agad? Kakakain lang natin.

J: Okay lng. Dahan dahan nalang tayo lumakad. Ma, pa, alis na kami ha.

K: Tita, tito. Salamat po sa masarap na lunch. Saka congratulations po sa inyo. Kasi mukhang sa inyo parehas nagmana si Jelo sa pagiging matalino at magaling sa maraming bagay.

Mr and Mrs Canlas were stunned. Kokoy's words struck them hard. While walking... Jelo had a lot of words to say but he didn't know how to start. He remembered Kokoy telling him a while ago about his attitude beinf the reason why he didn't have friends. But why is he here...with him?
