drivers license

you said forever now I drive alone past your street

It had been two years since Jisoo's first break-up. It had also been two years since she first tried for a drivers license but it was only just a week ago that she had the license.

She can finally drive! legally, of course, usually, she would just drive around the neighbourhood and town with him without the license, but that was two years ago.

Him. He was her first boyfriend, he was the one who taught her how to drive but somehow, she kept failing the test.

"I promise you, once you get your license, we would go any place you want" He swears

"What if I want to go to Brazil? How about that?" Jisoo smirked as laid her head on his shoulder

"Sure, I'll take you there" He spoke as he strokes her hair

Jisoo let out a laugh, "You need to have a plane or plane ticket to get to Brazil, not a car, stupid!"

"Well, I can always buy a ticket, it would be like my gift to you" He smiled

"Hmm, ok, promise?"

"Promise, It's us forever Jisoo"

"Us, forever."

Jisoo smiled at the bittersweet memory as she starts the car.

It was such an innocent yet so loving promise, it gave her very much mixed emotions. She felt sadness, happiness and sometimes, betrayal.

"Taehyung, are you going to Irene again?" Jisoo asked as she fiddled with her hands

"Erm, yeah, we're working on this project and we're doing it in her house"

Jisoo's body softened, "Again? I barely saw you this week, when are you going to have time for me?"

Taehyung sighs as he checks his watch, "Ji, I'm sorry, I really am but Irene and this project is the only way I can pass this subject, you know that"

"But-"

He picked up his backpack, "I'm sorry, I got to go, I'll see you, yeah?" He said as he rushed out the door

Jisoo was left standing alone once again.

Her mind wandered again to a distant memory that was once hidden in the back of her mind, It was Taehyung and the blonde girl. He would sometimes spend his breaks with her and not her, they looked more like a couple than they both did.

Which sucked cause she was his girlfriend, not her.

But it looked like she wasn't.

"Taehyung this is the final straw!" She shouts, "Is she your girlfriend or am I?"

He ran a hand through his hair in frustration, "For heaven's sake, Jisoo, why are we having this conversation?!"

"Cause it looks like she's your girlfriend and not me! That may not be a big deal for you but it is for me! So answer me, is it her or me?" She yelled

"You, Jisoo! You're the one that I love! Not her, it was never her" His tone lowering down as he neared Jisoo

"I'm sorry for making you feel like you're not important, but you are, ok?" He whispers
