*talking to jo*
"Yeah I miss Alex" sighed Mer "Me to I called his mom she said he wasn't with her" said jo " weird wasn't he going to his moms" questioned Mer " yeah, that's what he said"
*paged 911 to the ER*
"got to go bye jo" said Mer as she walked away
"Bye Mer" jo said as she was finishing filling in a chart
*Mer gets to the ER and the nurse told her to wait in the ambulance bay for incoming
Mer is there and about a minute later this guy she's never seen before comes and stand beside her*
"So I hear your Meredith Grey" said Hayes
"Yeah so who are you" questioned Mer
"I'm Cormac Hayes chief of Paediatric Surgury"
*Mer was confused because that was Alex's job*
"Wait what" exclaimed Mer
"Yeah Koracick hired me"
"Yeah you seem like the person he would hire" said Mer
*HAYES POV*
Since my wife died it's been a struggle to be happy. But Cristina told me to come to Seattle to get a fresh start. Me and my boys moved out here a week ago and today is my first day at my new hospital. I walked into the hospital and immediately got paged to the ER. There the first person I met was Meredith Grey. We met at the ambulance bay.
a few days later we run into each other at the nursing station
"Hey" said Hayes
"Hey" said Mer
"How are you?" Asked Hayes
"I'm doing the best I can what about you?" Asked Mer
"I'm good we'll I need to get home to my boys see ya grey" said Hayes as he walks onto the elevator going to the lobby
