Chapter 10

The seven of them hovered in place not knowing what to say.

"I am going to get married to a stranger much less to a ghost younger than me?!!" Dani was panicking.

"Not exactly, he is a special case" Skulker said.

"Don't worry you Little Rascal, you already know him and you are actually quite close to him" Ember said as she messed with Dani's hair.

"Explain" Danny said in a stern manner while emitting the pressure of a King.

"First of all let's get inside since this is a confidential topic" Skulker said while Danny, Sam, Tucker and Valerie nodded in confirmation.

The seven flew down towards the house and sat down on the sofa, they couldn't help but notice the animal heads and pelts that littered the walls of the house as well as musical notes, instruments, and song lyrics.

"Now we will explain from the very beginning" Skulker said while Ember started to cook some snacks for their guests.

"When Ember got pregnant the two of us were very happy and immediately went to Pandora in order for us to get married" Skulker started, Danny, Sam, and Tucker couldn't help themselves.

"I'm sorry we didn't get to attend also congratulations although it is pretty late" Danny said while bowing as well as Sam and Tucker.

"Don't mind it, you were busy with exams that day and it was a secret wedding due to Ember being a famous singer as well" Skulker said.

Ember finished cooking and placed the potato chips, fries, burgers, tacos, burritos, nachos, their sauces, and lastly mushroom soup. Dani who noticed the weird inclusion of mushroom soup and was confused at first but then realized what it meant. Ember noticed this and smiled.

"I guess you finally realized who it is, Rascal" Ember said with a gentle smile which resembled a mother's.

"But how?" Dani couldn't help herself and asked.

"I will tell you later but first you and Zack needs to get out of the Ghost Zone since it is toxic for the living, Valerie is safe thanks to her suit and Sam and Tucker rarely stayed in the Ghost Zone outside of the Specter Speeder and the lairs of Clockwork, Pandora, and Frostbite which caused them to gradually get used to the Ghost Zone" Ember said as she ushered for the two children to play outside.

"Here is some cash, go and enjoy yourselves" Sam said after knowing what Ember was trying to do.

"Okay, Mom... but you need to tell me the truth later" Dani said as she received the money that Sam gave her then she dragged Zack towards the Fenton Ghost Portal.

"Now that they are gone we can finally discuss the important parts" Danny said, fully knowing what the two girls did.

"Yes, you're right my King" Skulker said.

"Stop that Skulker besides I am still not a King, now get to the point" Danny said.

"Our child became stillborn yet he didn't fade but his essence got focused and became a ghost core around the size for someone who is Thirteen years old" Skulker said which made Tucker gasp in surprise.

"You don't mean?" Tucker asked as he looked towards the direction were Dani and Zack went.

"Yes after the fact that our child died, me and Ember had a fight causing me to come to the Human Realm to try and alleviate some pain by playing with the three of you but to my surprise as I was looking at my child's core, it suddenly started to flash then Zack appeared" Skulker said with a smile.

"I didn't believe it at first since he looks naive and not hot headed like me or my wife and he is a living human which would make us scary existences for him but to my surprise he didn't and at the same time helped me, his strength is also comparable to a expert fighter ghost and if turning intangible or overshadowing was not allowed then I would have lost no doubt" Skulker said as he started to reminisce the even when he first met Zack.

"I gave him the gadgets and weapons that I was supposed to give to my son along with his core and of course that didn't sit well with Ember yet when she saw Zack listening to music as he sang while modifying the gadgets I made she couldn't help herself and accept it she also saw how Zack took care of our child's core and how he seems to respect it" Skulker said.

"Yeah, when I saw him cleaning our child 's core carefully every day I desperately wanted to hug him but Skulker stopped me from doing so" Ember said with a smile.

"..." The three halfas and the only human were in a daze due to how the events were unfolding.

"But in one fateful day our child's core suddenly emitted a very powerful energy which made me and Ember rush towards it only to see it fuse with Zack's heart then we remembered your situation Dipstick and the little rascal" Ember said.

"What's the problem with it?" Danny asked quite confused.

"We were absolutely fine with it but then Clockwork appeared and said that if something ecto related hit him then there would be problems since our child's core is supposed to merge with his future core slowly so that everything would be fine but thanks to the GIW Bastards shooting him the two cores started fighting for dominance which is very threatening for Zack and the only way we could think of so that the two of them would be saved is by turning him into one of you" Amber continued.

"Please help him!!" Skulker said as he bowed and begged for Danny's help which made all of them surprised but then Ember also bowed.

"Skulker... Ember... Of course I am willing to help!" Danny declared.

"You don't need to bow to get our help since aren't we friends?" Sam said with a smile.

"Yeah! Even when you were hunting us you didn't really put us under major life threatening stuff which means you already see us as your equals" Tucker said.

"Besides I will get killed by Ellie if I don't help him later down the line as well as Sam, maybe Mom as well" Danny said sheepishly fully knowing the three's attitudes.

"Thank you" Skulker and Ember said as they raised their heads.
