Crowley received the shorter end of the stick when it came to punishment. We were both suspended for a week, but Crowley was also kicked off of the football team. They had seen an increase in my grades lately and allowed me to be on the team, but I was walking a thin line.

Cas was moving in. It was official. Every day, Gabriel and a couple of Cas' siblings would drop by with some of his stuff. I switched rooms with my dad allowing Cas and I more space for all of our stuff.
"When is all of your artwork coming?" I asked Cas as he shuffled through a box.
"It's not. It's gunna stay up in my room."
"Why? It's yours and it's all fantastic. You should hang it up here."
"No it's okay. I want it there."
"Okay. Whatever you say."
I was sitting on the edge of the bed with Cas right in front of me, his back facing me. He was shirtless and wearing a pair of my sweatpants. They hung, low around his waist. I leaned forward wrapping my arms around his waist and pulling him onto my lap.
"Dean." He whined. "I need to do stuff."
"Let's do stuff then." I kissed his neck and sucked a mark into his shoulder.
"Dean." His attempt to be let go was weak. Soon he was relaxing into me. As soon as my grip loosened, he took the chance to escape, but crawled onto the bed. I followed him. Laying on my back, Cas straddled my hips. His hands ran up my chest under my shirt. Propping myself on my elbows, I allowed him to take it off. We kissed hard.
"Wait, I think Sam is home." Cas said pulling away.
Sure enough, the sound of Dad's motorcycle being turned off was heard. Quickly, Cas got up putting on a shirt. I followed suit and went downstairs.
"Hey." I called out.
"Hey, boys." I heard my Dad say.
"Where's Sam?"
"He's walking home with Gabriel."
"Dean, let's go for a walk too." Cas said behind me. "We can meet them halfway and go get milkshakes or something."
"Yeah, you boys go ahead. I'm gunna do some work on my motorcycle. It was making a weird noise." Dad said handing me some money.

We walked hand in hand towards the school.
"You know, the first time I ever heard you talk about your Dad, you made him out to be a terrible, drunk, who doesn't care about you and Sam." Cas said as we walked. "He seems like a good guy to me."
"Yeah, well, he's been here for a week. He should be leaving soon."
"Why?"
"Because that's what he does. He stops by, sees how everything is going, then leaves for a couple months."
"Wow. Do you know where he goes at least?"
"Not a clue. Your ears are turning red. It's chilly out, put your hood up." I say changing the subject. I let go of Cas' hand and wrap my arm around his shoulder. Together, we walk clumsily looking for Sam and Gabe.
