"Now Dave like where is your mom at?" I said looking at him
He looked down and sighed...
"She's coming now" Dave said nervously
As Nene, Dave and I were sitting down in the living room waiting for his mom to get here like all that was going through my head was questions that needed to be answered. I honestly don't know how to feel about this whole situation that's currently happening right now.
That's when there was a slight knock on the door which made me get up and began walking towards the door then I looked through the peephole to notice that it was Heaven who is Dave's mom. I quickly opened the door and could read her face experience that she didn't want to be here for this type of situation.
"Hello Heaven, how are you doing?" I said looking at her
"Hey Aaliyah and I'm just taking everything one day at a time if you understand me but what bout you now?" She said crossing her arms
"I could say the same expectly during this time right now but please come in" I said smiling
She nodded her head and walked into the house then I closed the door behind her while she looked around the house noticing all the beautiful arts and other things.
"Wow, all these things in here are honestly so beautiful, Aaliyah" Heaven said looking around
"Yea, they really beautiful and meaningful but would you like something to drink or anything?" I said crossing my arms
"No I'm completely fine right now but where are the kids at?" Heaven said concerned
"Nene and Dave are in the living room right now" I said walking to the living room
"Okay but how's your other kids doing if you don't mind me asking?" Heaven said following me
"They are doing actually good but I'm just sad that they are growing up on me honestly" I said smiling
"Oh I know that feeling when I look at my four boys to see them as grown men just mind blowing that they were just lil babies, to be honest" She said nodding her head
As we walked into the living room, there was Chanel and Dave sitting in there with their heads down while Nene sat there sniffing and wiping her eyes as tears fall down her carmel skin. I just looked between them then back at Chanel's stomach makes me feel like I failed as a parent honestly. Now I had one thing and that was too keep this family together and not to make decisions that you might regret in life.
"Hi mom" Dave said looking at Heaven
She sighed and looked at him...
"Hey baby" She said crossing her arms
"Hello Ms.Black" Chanel said nervously
"Hey babygirl" Heaven said smiling
That's when I took a deep breath and looked at Nene then at her stomach where my grandkid is right now which made my eyes watery and I quickly wiped them away..
"Umm so you guy know why we are here and what's the next step that we are going to do?" I said crossing my arms
"So I just want to ask you and Nene like are y'all keeping the baby?" Heaven said looking at them
Dave and Chanel looked at each other then back at us which cause us to sigh..
"Now wait before you guys start talking like why did you guy not use protection now, huh? You guys could have asked anyone for a condom honestly and Nene isn't on birth control either. Like both of you should of told us then we would have prepared y'all with condoms, birth control and shit" I said looking at them
Heaven nodded her head while looking at them..
"We should of asked but we didn't tho so Dave and I are both sorry for our mistakes and decisions" Nene said sighing
"We really are but I don't know like I'm only 18 and I want to do what I always dream of doing in life but I understand not a lot of people are blessed to have kids. In my opinion, I think we should get rid of the baby maybe" Dave said looking at us
"Well I don't want to kill my baby, Dave" Chanel said crossing her arms
Once she said that then we all were shock and couldn't believe what we were heard right now..
"Baby, you want to keep the baby?" I said looking at her
"I don't want to kill her and him like who knows what might happen in the future... I might have trouble having kids and this could be the only chance that I have, mom" She said sighing
"Now Chanel like you have to understand that having a baby is a lot of responsibility and you can't no longer think bout yourself but for that baby now and he or she is your first priority now like you won't be able to do the things that you wanted to do or be able to handle out with your friend due to the fact that you have a kid. Baby are so expensive now a days" I said holding her hand
"You have to know that if you do decide to keep this baby then things will no longer be the same for the both of you like you will no longer be hustling for yourself but for your daughter or son now. There will be people who would look at you different and talk about you for the decision that you made" Heaven said crossing her arms
"Now we will give you guys a couple of days to talk and think about what you guys really want to do, okay? And Nene, you will have to tell your father about this now" I said looking at her
She looked down and sighed...
"I already know mom but do you think that he will still love me and care about me because I'm pregnant at 17?" She said crying
I grabbed her hands and wiped the tears that were falling down her face then looked at her..
"He always love and care about you but it might take him a while to get used to you pregnant and everything. Just know that he will come around because you are daddy's little girl, mama" I said smiling
"Thank you mom for sticking by my side during hard time honestly like I appreciate you" Chanel said hugging me
That's when I took a deep breath and hugged her while a million thought were running through my head right now.
