The sun shined through the curtains onto Athena sleeping face she groaned trying to cover herself back up and snuggle more into the bed
Once she felt comfortable she realized this wasn't her bed since hers was more stiff and hard she got up immediately looking around
She tries to remember everything an realized yesterday she was with Jakob she turned her head to the side only to notice the bed empty and cold
She got off the bed and looked around the room she went closer to the window and saw a big city full of building all around she notice she was way high up and figure that was in a penthouse
She looked at her wardrobe only to notice her wearing a silk sleep wear dress she looked around trying to look for her clothes or even her shoes but it was useless it wasn't in her sight
She walked towards the door silently just in case someone was still here she grabbed the handle and slowly turned it and opened it once she did she peaked her head through the door only to notice an empty hallway she made her way through
She walked faster until she saw the front door and almost started sprinting towards it but a voice cut her off " I wouldn't do that if I were you "
She turned around and noticed a Jakob cooking pancakes and eggs his back faced towards her " I made you breakfast " was all he said
Normally she would of gone up to him and punched him in the face but she was starving she hasn't eaten in two days since she been overworking herself
She made her way to the chair in front of him and sat down she didn't take her eyes off him once " what am I doing here " she looked at him waiting for a him to answer
" you weren't hurt badly so I brought you here " she grabbed her shoulder noticing the bandage around it she was so focused on everything else she forgot she had got shot " thank you "
He put a plate of food in front of her and poured her some coffee mixing it in with milk and sugar "just how you like it " she wonder how he remembered
She dug in immediately eating everything off the plate Jakob just watched her the entire time taking in her appearance he noticed her cheekbones were more noticeable and lips were plumper and her eyes still had the twinkle in them
She made eye contact with him " I need to go " she put her form down and stood up to leave she knew her family would be worried for her
Jakob grabbed her arm gently " stay " he looked into her eyes to which she sighed she wanted to leave to go back but at the same time she really wanted to stay here with him Jakob was always her weak spot
she took a seat back into the chair and grabbed some more pancakes and bacon and sat in silence eating
