The nicknames (gender neutral)

Kinda short and not really a story but I wanted to do this so bad! These are all the nicknames Louis ever uses on you and why they are used

Darling:
Pretty standard, used more often than not. Basic for him and preferred by you. He thinks of you as a ray of sunshine or as his beautiful person so you're darling to him

Baby/babe:
Used when he's talking quick or when he needs to get a point across. Never used negatively but can be used aggressively

My love:
Used when he's in a state of obsession over you. Used when he sees you dressed up really nice or is just completely in love in that moment. Used when he's really happy or when you're really happy.
Also used when it's quiet cuddle time. Likes to say it softly into your ear to make you smile and blush

Bub/bubba:
Used when he's laughing at a joke or at you. When he finds you so funny it's cute. Rarely used but when it is you know he's enjoying your company

Honey/hon:
Used during a lot of domestic bliss situations like doing the dishes or making dinner. Also rarely used but it makes you feel like you're in the olden days so he finds it enjoyable.
Also used when you're acting a little dumb and he has to explain something a lot

Y/n:
He rarely uses your actual name or any nickname based off your name but if he does it means he's upset in some way more often than not. He hates using your name in a negative way but usually it's the only way he can get his point across. When he uses your name you always stop and try to understand why he's calling you by your name. Louis never wants to use his pet names in a negative way so he resorts to using your name.
