Nothing at all (MS-II)

First POV
A little over a week had past since Louis's injury, and it was healing fine.
Louis was able to walk freely now, and a fresh scar was starting to form on his skin. It almost looked like nothing at all had happened.
He went back out hunting for the first time and needless to say I was scared shitless.
I kept thinking of the previous accident while he grabbed his stuff and walked out.
I gave him a tight hug before he left and told him to stay safe. He only laughed and gave me the same generic answer of 'I'll be okay. Don't be nervous.' which did not calm my nerves what-so-ever.
I watched him walk out of the gates and into the trees.

I bounced my leg as I waited and waited.
"Seriously! How long is he supposed to take?!" I groaned as aj sat beside me.
"It's okay y/n! I know Louis, and I know he'll be just fine! He's big and strong, he can fight off some monsters!"
I smiled at Ajs adorable hope and love for Louis. I hope one day I can have a sweet little boy like Aj.
The group shouted and I whipped my head around to see the hunting group coming back.
The gates creaked as they were swung open and everyone walked inside.
I saw Louis carrying a bunny over this shoulder and he had a huge smile on his face.
"Louis! You're okay!"
I wrapped my arms around his neck, and he let out an "oof" as I threw myself onto him.
He laughed and wrapped his arms around me.
"So nothing happened to you?!" I asked as I backed away from the hug, but I still stood close to him.
"Nothing at all." I took a breath of relief. "I told you I would be! You worry to much, darling."
I pushed hair behind my ear as I hung my head in embarrassment.
"You know I can't help it." I mumbled. Louis lifted my chin to meet his eyes.
"I know darling, but you gotta try for me. It's not good to worry that pretty little head of yours all the time." Louis booped my nose as he said that which made my nose crinkle.
He backed away from me but grabbed my hand and dragged me toward the center of the courtyard.
"Come on darling. Let's go eat."
I happily followed him to the table and sat down next to him.

While we were eating, I felt something tickle my hand.
I glanced down to see Louis's pinky finger slowly climb onto my hand.
We both covertly and slowly intertwined our fingers. I smiled when our hands interlocked with each other under the table.
Louis looked at our hands then at me and smiled as wide as I was.
"Why don't you two just get a room already?! Or just kiss in front of us! It's not weird, you know?!" Aasim mocked as he noticed our inner conversations with each other.
"Yeah! Do it! Don't be babies! Kiss!"
The group started chanting for us to kiss so Louis leaned over and took me by surprise. I closed my eyes and relaxed as I placed my hand on the back of his head.
Kissing in front of everyone while they 'ooo'ed was kind of a rush.
Louis partes from me and everyone cheered.
"We have a weird friend group." Louis whispered in my ear.
"Yeah but I wouldn't trade them for anything. Nothing at all."
