Imagine #3 Jihyo X Daniel 💝

Plot summary: Jihyo and Daniel used to date but they broke up due to their conflicting schedules as idols. They run into each other at an awards party. Will they reconcile?

Jihyo and Daniel dated for more than a year but broke up a few months ago. They broke up we they are both idols in the spotlight and they felt the pressure of being together and keeping their relationship going. Jihyo and Daniel were in love. Very much in love. She didn't handle the breakup well at the time. She was fragile and crying all the time. Daniel was her first relationship since becoming famous too. Jihyo is a sweet and sensitive soul. Daniel wasn't exactly okay. He missed Jihyo and wish they were still together. Maybe they will get back together one day if it works out

The Seoul Music Awards is happening tonight in Seoul and Twice and Daniel are going to be there as well as many other idols. There might be a chance they will run into each other. It's now been a few months since they ended their relationship. Jihyo and Daniel do miss each other a lot. Anyway Jihyo is getting ready with her girls. They are getting their makeup done. They all have amazing outfits for the evening picked out by their stylist. The girls are getting dressed now. Jihyo's outfit is a skirt with a top. The other girls outfits are similar. When they were ready they set out in the cab waiting for them by their hotel. Jihyo is sat in between Jeongyeon and Momo in the limo. "This is exciting, girls. An awards show" Sana says. "It is" Jihyo replies. "Can't wait for our performance" Tzuyu said. The girls were there earlier doing a sound check for their performance. They pull up outside the venue for the Seoul Music Awards and get out of the limo. Jihyo doesn't like getting out of limos especially in heels. The chauffeur helps her out. She thanks him. The press takes pictures of them as they walk down the red carpet. There was a barrier up so people didn't get in their faces. Twice pose for their photos on the red carpet

The girls take a seat in the audience at the awards ceremony. Jihyo hasn't seen Daniel but he's in the building now. The girls sit down and wait for the awards to start. Dahyun was the most excited out of the girls. She was like a little kid. Haha. Jihyo notices that Daniel was around. She didn't want to say anything as the award show was going on. She was aware that Daniel was there. Mina looked at Jihyo and said "You okay". "Yeah" Jihyo smiles. She was a little surprised to see Daniel tonight. The other girls didn't notice him. Their performance went well too. They smashed it as always. The girls won a couple of awards and so did Daniel. It was a great night for all of them

After the award ceremony, there was a party. Twice and Daniel were invited so there is a chance that Jihyo and Daniel could run into each other. The girls are at the party getting drinks now. They like to drink every now and then when they get to go out. Jihyo could see Daniel from afar. She was in two minds if she should talk to him. "Talk to him, Unnie" Chaeyoung said tapping her on the shoulder. "No in a bit" Jihyo replies. "You should say hi to Daniel. He'll think you don't want to talk to him" Tzuyu said. Jihyo goes to get another drink and Daniel was nearby so she decides to say hi to him. "Hi" she said. "Hey" he said. "How are you? she asks. "Good are you?" Daniel replies. "Yes I'm good. So good Awards" Jihyo said. "Yeah it was awesome. You and the girls smashed your performance" he said. "Thank you. You did too" she smiles. "Can I get you a drink? Oh wait you've already got yourself one" Daniel said. Jihyo laughs. Jihyo and Daniel talk for a bit and catch up. The girls were watching. They always said that Jihyo and Daniel made such a cute couple and they are right

Jihyo and Daniel carry on talking for a while longer. The girls notice the body language and chemistry between them. Awwwww. "Can I get you another drink, Jihyo?" Daniel asks. "No I'm fine thanks" she replies. "Jihyo, I want to give it another go. Us" he said. "Danny, we can't. There's no way we can be together again" Jihyo said. "I'm so sorry for the way things ended between us. How we had to breakup and end our relationship after so long" Daniel said. "But it was for the better, Daniel. It's hard to be in a relationship when you're idols like us. You know that. It was nice seeing you tonight anyway" Jihyo says. "Yeah I know. Yeah it was nice seeing you too. Okay take care" Daniel said. Jihyo smiles. She does feel bad for being harsh on him but she feels they ended their relationship at the right time when they did. She goes back to the girls. "You and Daniel not getting back together" Jeongyeon said. "No. It won't work" Jihyo said. "You two are so cute together" Momo smiles. "But it's not meant to be girls" she said. The girls looked disappointed by Jihyo's words. They always rooted for DaniHyo. Cute ship name. Sana came up with it. Anyway they all had a great time at the Seoul Music Awards tonight

It's a few weeks later and Jihyo has been thinking about Daniel a lot lately since they ran into each other at the Seoul Music Awards. She kinda feels bad saying it won't work if they get back together. Maybe she's realising now that it would. She did love Daniel a lot so maybe they are meant to be. Jihyo is currently at the studio practicing with the girls now. Daniel is on her mind and she's trying to get him off her mind. They are taking a five minute break now. "Jihyo. What's the matter? You seem a little off" Nayeon said. "No I'm okay. Just tired that's all, Unnie" Jihyo replies. "Is it something with Daniel? You tel back together" Dahyun said. "No no. I'm fine guys" she said. "You're thinking about him. Right?" Mina says. "Maybe just a little" Jihyo said. "You're still in love with him. Aren't you?" Chaeyoung. "I could tell by the way you looked at him at the awards" Jeongyeon said. Jihyo sighs and looks at them and says "Yes you're right. I'm still in love with Daniel" Jihyo said. She was a little too afraid to admit it at first. "You need to go and tell him, girl before it's too late" Sana said. "Yeah tell him, Jihyo" Tzuyu said. She looks at them and smiles agreeing with them. Jihyo is still very much in love with Daniel

It's after practice now and maybe the girls are right, Jihyo should tell Daniel that's she's still in love with him before it's too late. On the night of the awards she was too focused on the night than thinking she was still in love with Daniel. Now Jihyo realised that her feels never went away. She is leaving practice now. She calls a cab as she's going to Daniel's place. She is nervous about turning up on his doorstep. She doesn't know what his reaction would be like. Anyway she has just arrived at his place now. She rings the doorbell and waits for an answer. "Daniel" Jihyo said. "Jihyo" he said looking surprised to see her there. "Can I come in? Can we talk?" she asks. "Okay" he replies. Jihyo follows Daniel into his place and they sit on the couch. "I'm sorry for the way I reacted at the awards party. I feel bad, Danny. I really do" she said. "It's alright I guess. Maybe what you said was right"
Daniel replies. "Daniel, maybe I am still in love with you" she said. "Are you? But you were saying that our relationship won't work again" he said. "I know but I've come to realise that you should be with the person you love and care about and I love you, Kang Daniel" Jihyo said. "I-I love you too, Park Jihyo" he said. Both of them look at each other and lean in and share a sweet kiss. Daniel and Jihyo kiss for a few minutes. They are in love again and back together. Jihyo got the man she loved back. You should be with the person you love the most

Jihyo and Daniel are now happily back together and engaged. It's 6 months since they got back together. He proposed to her last week and she accepted it. The media doesn't know about their engagement yet but Jihyo is going to tell the girls first. Daniel already told his former Wanna One band mates who he is all still in touch with. They were surprised but happy for him. Daniel is coming by to the Twice house soon and they are going to tell them about their engagement soon. Jihyo hasn't been wearing her engagement ring as she doesn't want to give it away that her and Daniel are engaged. The girls are observant and they would guess. He is due to come over any minute. The girls think he's just coming over for a meal but they are wrong. Jihyo is dressed nicely to reveal her engagement to her girls. The doorbell goes and Jihyo rushes to answer it. "Hey" she said. "Hi, you look beautiful tonight" Daniel says. "Hey, Daniel" Tzuyu said. "Hey, girls" he smiles. Momo, Sana and Mina are making Japanese food tonight from their home country. "Smells delicious, girls. Love Japanese food" Daniel says. "Hope it tastes delicious" Sana said. Soon they all sit down to eat the delicious Japanese meal that the girls made. "Great meal, girls. It's a feast" Jeongyeon said. "Thanks, everyone" Mina says. They tidy up after the meal. They all wash the dishes and put away. Jihyo gets her engagement ring on but hides it from the girls. "Girls, me and Daniel have something to tell you. Something we would like to share with you" Jihyo said. "Ohhhh you're pregnant" Chaeyoung said. "No not yet but we want to have kids in the future. Me and Daniel are engaged. Me asked me to marry him last week" Jihyo said. "Yay! Congratulations. You're getting married" Nayeon said. "Can we all be bridesmaids" Dahyun said. "Yes of course you can. You girls are my best friends" Jihyo replies. "That's the best news ever" Momo smiles. The girls cheered and celebrated to hear of Daniel and Jihyo's engagement. They are so happy for them and can't wait till they get married. See their relationship did work for the better

A/ N: Jihyo and Daniel I ship they hard. Hope they get back together irl. Love them together. Shame they are not together anymore.
