Y/N is the son of champions Lance and Cynthia is now in sinnoh after his father moved to sinnoh to be with Cynthia and Y/N
He then reunites with his childhood friend Dawn.What will happen when he meets Dawn again.
Since their reunion Dawn and Y/N were so happy. After about 1 more hour in Celestic city Y/N told his parents that he was going to go with Ash and his friends and his parents bid him farewell. The gang were now on their way back to Hearthome City for Ash to finally fight Fantina. Y/N told him about her pokemon but when he fought her she had a drifloon not a drifblim which would make it harder for Ash to beat. On their way they stopped to have a break to have lunch and Ash was training but during their training Ash had an idea and turned to Y/N.
Ash:Y/N can you have a battle with me so that I can prepare for Fantina.
Y/N:Sure of course,I will do my best to help you.
They then prepared for a battle which Ash used buizel, chimchar and pikachu against Y/N's staraptor, snorlax and Titan.
Ash:Use aqua jet Y/N:Dodge it and use work up then close combat Buizel covered himself in water as he rushed towards staraptor but the regional bird dodged it quickly and glowed a faint red rasing his attack and then got close to buizel and attacked with a barrage of assaults which quickly took him out.
Ash:Good job buizel return. Go chimchar!Use Flamethrower! Chimchar shoots a blaze of fire out of his mouth towards staraptor which the bird quickly dodged but was then hit by a flame wheel. Y/N/Ash:Use Flamethrower/Brave bird Staraptor dashed towards the best fire monkey as the sinnoh fire starter shot another blaze. The two attacks connected as staraptor pushed through the fire and hit chimchar while taking damage. Chimchar then got up as his fire began to light up as his eyes glowed bright red.

Y/N:Blaze Ash:Use Flamethrower Y/N:Use double edge Staraptor dashed towards chimchar glowed white as chimchar shot an uncontrollable Blaze but instead of towards staraptor it was around the entire battlefield. Staraptor took this as a chance to hit the fire monkey and knocked him out but not before chimchar noticed staraptor and hit it with the fire and the double edge hit chimchar which knocked them out. Ash:Go pikachu Y/N:Go Titan Pikachu went onto the battlefield as the johto pseudo-legendary appeared to battle.

Ash:Use iron tail Y/N:Use stone edge Titan surrounded himself with shards of stones as pikachu covered his tail in steel and both attacks collided but the stone edge was significantly stronger and knocked pikachu away. Before Ash could retaliate Titan used earthquake and hit pikachu knocking him out.
The two trainers then shook hands before Ash thought then thought of a strategy and asked Y/N for help. This is when Ash thought of the counter-sheild and after 1 hour he mastered it. The gang then headed back towards Hearthome City to the place of ash's gulym battle.
