love at first dawn(dawn x male reader)

Y/n vs Lance

Today Y/n and Dawn head to Silver town at the base of Mt Moon. Crowds of people rush into the stadium and many of them cheer when they see the sinnoh champion.
Extra:Good luck Champion!
Dawn:Lots of people are coming from all over.
Y/n:I mean this match is for starting the next season of the silver conference. I can't wait. Well I have to head to my locker room.
Dawn:Alright  good luck.
She gives him a quick kiss on the lips before rushing to her seat.

Time skip
Lance and Y/n take their spots on the battlefield, Cynthia, who just arrived a couple of minutes after Dawn and Y/n arrived to the stadium, and Dawn sat in their seats. The referee took to his position and stated the rules of the match.
Ref:This will be a 6 on 6 battle, as requested by Champion Lance. Both trainers will be allowed to substitute their pokemon and the battle will be over once either side lose all 6 pokemon. Now battle begin!
Y/n:Soar through the skies, Ace!
Lance:Go Salamence!
Both trainers send out their pokemon as they pokemon make use of their ability intimidate to lower the attacks of their opponent.
Lance:Use flamethrower!
Salamence unleashes a blast of fire in an attempt to consume the bird but Ace dives out of the way of the flames.
Y/n:Steel wing!
Ace's wings shine like metal as they slash at Salamence.
Lance:Dragon claw!
Salamence's claws glow green as he slams them into Ace as the bird grunts with pain.
Y/n:Brave bird!
The bird slips out of Salamence's grasp and then slams himself into the pseudo with emense force, causing them both to crash into the battlefield. Ace comes out and flinched from the recoil.
Y/n:That had to stop Salamence.
Lance:Nope, use rest!
The drake closes his eyes as all the injuries sustained from his battle fade away.
Y/n:Dammit! Ace return!
He recalls ace and looks to his shiny pokemon.
Y/n:Dazzle the audience Pearl!
Pearl:Ok Daddy!
Y/n:Use take heart and don't stop until you're at the max!
Pearl glows pink, so bright that she blinds the audience. In the blinding light she uses take heart at least 3 times until Salamence awakens and roars which frightened Pearl and causes her to stop.
Lance:Dragon claw!
The drake spars at Pearl and crushed her as Dawn winched at the sight.
Y/n:Dazzling gleam!
Pearl glowed pink as she forced Salamence off her as the drake was blown away.
Y/n:Ice beam!
Pearl then sent a beam of ice that clipped Salamance's wing.
Lance:Flamethrower!
Y/n:Counter with liquidation!
Fire and water clash in the air as steam erupted from the collision. However, a column of water comes crashing down on Salamence.
Y/n:Use ice beam!
Lance:Flamethrower!
Now a clash between fire and ice commences, with the ice beam quickly breaking through the flames and engulfing Salamence. The dragon was trapped in ice with swirly eyes.
Ref:Salamence is unable to battle, Phone wins. Lance send out your next pokemon.
Lance:Go Gyarados!
He sent out his signature red Gyarados as the crowd erupted in loud cheers.
Y/n:Use dazzling gleam!
Lance:Thunder wave!
Gyarados allowed the light burst to hit him as he shook off the damage. His back fins glowed yellow as lightning arked off him and onto Pearl.
Y/n:We can get rid of that, take heart!
Lance:Dragon dance!
Pearl was about to use her move but the lightning from thunder wave came out and stopped her from moving. To cause Pearl more discomfort when Gyarados used dragon dance he grabbed the baby with his tail and spun while violently smashing her on the ground.
Y/n:Get out of there with dazzling gleam!
Pearl glowed pink for a second but the light was stopped by electricity and Gyarados kept thrashing with dragon dance.
Lance:End this with waterfall!
With one final smash Gyarados let go of Pearl before he slammed his massive body into the smaller water type was he slid across the ground with water sprouting up. Pearl flew in the air and smashed into wall behind Y/n. When she slid down she was unconscious.
Ref:Phione is unable to battle, Y/n send out your next pokemon.
Y/n:I need you again Ace!
Ace flew straight into combat as he glared at Gyarados with intimidate but the sea serpent seemed unaffected.
Lance:Use ice fang!
Y/n:Steel wing!
The moves clash but Gyarados quickly overcomes Ace, as his fangs sink into Ace's wing and freeze it.
Y/n:Use brave bird!
Ace smirks as he exploded with power to send Gyarados back, crashing into the battlefield.
Y/n:Use u turn!
Ace strikee Gyarados again and returns to his ball as a much larger opponent comes out.
Y/n:Chow time Munch!
Munch comes out ready to battle.
Lance:Waterfall!
Y/n:Curse!
Gyarados smashed into Munch, enveloped by water but the water type simply bounced off the belly of the normal titan who glowed purple as his stats grew.
Lance:Ice fang!
Y/n:Curse!
Gyarados bit down on Munch but the ice type attack didn't even faze Munch as the normal type lazily yawned and belly flopped Gyarados off him.
Lance:Waterfall!
Y/n:Body slam!
Gyarados wasn't expecting an attack so when he used water fall he wasn't expecting the massive pokemon to crash into him and send him flying, behind Lance knocked out.

Lance:Go Altaria!
He sends out the cloud dragon who takes to the air.
Lance:Dragon breathe!
Y/n:Heavy slam!
Munch glows silver and spins like a disc in the air as Altaria unleashed a dragonic blue blaze that collides with Munch. The blaze leaves Munch with paralysis but that didn't stop Munch from crashing into Altaria with extreme force. However, the cloud bird holds Munch in place as Lance smirked.
Lance:Perish song!
Y/n:What?
Altaria sings a deadly melody as a counter of 3 appeared on Munch and Altaria's heads.
Dawn:Cynthia what's perish song?
Cynthia:A move that ensures a pokemon faints after 3 turns.
Dawn:Oh no.
Lance:Hyper beam!
Y/n:Body slam!
Munch tried to move but paralysis kicked in which prevented him from moving. Altaria then sent a destructive beam of power that sends Munch back onto the ground. The counters on their head fade into the number 2.
Y/n:Use heavy slam!
Altaria was remaining in place due to the recharge period from hyper beam so he had no choice but to endure the steely body of Munch. The counters then fade to 1.
Lance:Use hyper beam!
Y/n:Tank it!
Altaria sent another destructive beam that collides with Munch. And the counters go down to 0.
Y/n:Use-
He was cut off by both pokemon fading to stone grey as black energy surged through them. Then they returned to their normal color and fainted.
Ref:Both pokemon are unable to battle, both trainers send out your next pokemon.
Lance:Go Garchomp!
Y/n:Terrorize our foes, Nova!
The darkness pokemon came out of his ball ready to battle as Garchomp roared at him.
Lance:Use outrage!
Y/n:Dark pulse!
Garchomp was roaring louder as his eyes glowed red with fury however those eyes quickly turned normal as Garchomp was promptly knocked out in a single attack by dark pulse  which landed a high roll critical hit.
Ref:Garchomp is unable to battle, Lance send out your next pokemon.
Lance:Go dragonite!
To the shock of everyone he sent out his ace Dragonite.
Y/n:Use dark void!
Lance:Safeguard!
A green veil of light surrounded Dragonite as the pitch black ball of light was destroyed.
Y/n:Not safeguard! Use dark pulse!
Lance:Fire blast!
Fire and darknese clash but to everyone's surprise fire blast wins out and smashed into Nova. A burn consumed Nova as he flinched in pain.
Lance:Hyper beam!
A destructive beam which consumed half the battlefield destroyed Nova as he was unconscious on the ground.
Ref:Darkrai is unable to battle, Y/n send out your next pokemon!
Y/n:Bring fourth the storm Titan!
Titan came out with a roar but Dragonite was at a disadvantage as he was stuck in place due to the recharge. Y/n then activated his keystone.
Y/n:No more holding back. You, the one who holds the power hidden in the core of the earth and the everlasting destruction of darkness. Allow your power to finally flow to its maximum as our bond breaks the shackles that restrict you and mega evolve!
Titan glowed as his body shifted, transforming into mega Tyranitar.
Y/n:Use dragon dance!
As the sandstorm surged around them Titan spun viciously with blue energy.
Lance:Use Draco meteor!
Dragonite shot meteors into the sky which come raining down onto Titan but the psuedo legendary brushes them off.
Y/n:Use stone edge!
With one punch a giant stone pulled splintered through the earth and stabbed Dragonite. The flying type rolled off the pillar and crashed to the ground.
Ref:Dragonite is unable to battle, Lance send out your last pokemon.
Lance:Go Charizard!
He sent out Charizard as Lance then got a keystone bracelet out and suddenly roared like a dragon.
Lance:Unleash your awesome power and become a proud member of the dragons, mega evolve!

Y/n:Awesome! Use outrage!
Lance:Dragon claw!
The two clash with their dragon type attacks however, Titan wins the clash as he throws Lance away with a roar. Charizard flies down with dragon claw but another punch sent him back.
Y/n:Stone edge!
Charizard then got back on his feet but was then crushed by a stone edge prison and defeated.
