Serendipity

Your absence felt so palpable,
And I found none compatible,
I could feel but not touch,
And that hurted like a wrenching punch,

I think of you before going to bed,
Wishing one day I wake up to see your head,
I feel your embrace when I am alone,
Though I knew you're from another zone

The tree which I sat below,
Knew my heart which is hollow,
I seek for the glimpse of you,
Though everything in me screams no,

For once i felt like tasting the dew,
To finally start something new,
But in the end,
I had nothing to comprehend,

Though it felt so pure and raw,
I was a fool for wanting something I never saw
