-Remus-

James and Remus were spending their afternoon in the common room relaxing, enjoying their downtime before spending their night racing through the forbidden forest while Sirus and Peter ran down to the kitchens to try and convince the house elves to make some chocolate cake they could bring to Moony as the full moon that would be showing itself in a few days, was starting to affect the boy.

"BOYS! I NEED YOU RIGHT NOW!" The booming voice of a very angry Lily Evans rang through the common room.

"My, my, Lily Flower, always knew you'd admit it one day," James replied cheekily as he looked up from the chessboard that sat in front of him.

"I'm not even going to entertain that right now, this is a pressing matter and I need your undivided attention..." she glanced over at the boy who had yet to lift his eyes from the book he was reading, "both of you... Remus!"

Remus sighed and looked up, "This better be important Lily."

James looked up at the girl expectedly, "Is everything okay?"

"If by okay you mean Avery spitting in Celia's face after Mucliber hit her, the YES, everything is bloody WONDERFUL!" Marlene bellowed as she stormed over, appearing from behind the redhead.

Lily's hands, which were clenched tightly into fists at her sides, were shaking despite her obvious efforts to keep herself together.

The two boys were dead silent, both to the girls' annoyance.

James got up without speaking and began walking towards the exit.

"Where are you going?!" Lily cried as she glanced between the distancing Potter and the silent Lupin boy.

"Azkaban," James replied stoically just as Sirius and Peter emerged from the portrait hole.

"What's going on, Prongs... Moony?" Sirius questioned as he glanced between his mates and the borderline murderous girls.

Remus stood up, placing his book in Lily's hands with a quiet, "could you keep this safe for me?" before walking towards his fellow marauders. One he was at James's side he looked at the other two, "Murder, are you in or out?"

A few passing students out in the hall, who heard James due to the still opened portrait hole, looked over at the boy in concern, not that he cared.

Sirius, the boy who trusted his friends with his life, didn't hesitate nor question them before answering, "Of course I'm in."

Peter, though anxious about the whole situation also nodded, "I'm in, of course, but I feel like I should ask who and why."

"Mucliber and Avery," James replied with a clenched jaw.

"Celia," Remus added on, his voice cold.

Peter's nervous expression was immediately replaced with a hard glare and set jaw.

Sirius was now fuming, "Alright then lads, why are we still bloody here."

"Waiting for us, I presume."

The marauders turned towards the voice, their eyes falling on two equally angered Slytherins.

"Glad you could join us lads, was about to send Peter to get you both," James said sincerely as he made eye contact with both Tommy and Regulus.

"No need, blondie over there beat you to it," the younger Black replied.

"Took your good old time getting here didn't you?" Sirius asked, eye boring into his brothers.
